Oh no, anything but fewer narou-kei adaptations.Saw this but is it true? Anime in Japan is at risk due to failing Yen rates. There are fears that there will be more westernization pandering.

Goddamn, its almost like vidya after the Suicide Squad fuckup and how many people are still playing 10+ year old games like CS and GTAV. I wonder what people are reading/watching in the anime space if its not the flavor of the month."Furthermore, the purchasing power of anime fans is also declining."
Make good shows and blacklist shitty localizers. How is that so hard?
The manga is set in historical France (more specifically the region called Brittany, aka "Bretagne" by the French) during the 13th century. Is that Brittany one like a romcom between Arthur, Lancelot, and Guinevere or something?
It essentially means Japanese staffs can no longer outsource work to foreign-based studios as much as they could back then, and the entire industry needs to be restructured in order to appeal more future animators in the country. Anime DVDs and Blu-Rays are very much on the expensive side for Japanese consumers, so I'm not surprised people are restraining themselves amidst of the current inflation economy affecting Japan too.Saw this but is it true? A bunch of really long-running and popular shows were running all at the same time years ago and they were never really replaced by anything in the same capacity so of course even in Japan, people are going to be spending less money. It's only going to get worse too because the current wave of popular shit now has 1 foot out the door with no up and comers in sight really."Furthermore, the purchasing power of anime fans is also declining."

I remember reading that has been going on for a while and publishers desperately trying to make the next naruto, dragonball and one piece happen.A bunch of really long-running and popular shows were running all at the same time years ago and they were never really replaced by anything in the same capacity so of course even in Japan, people are going to be spending less money. Physical disk users on suicide watch. What a fucked up industry. You want an entire season of a recent anime? That'll easily be 30k yen at the very least, regardless you get it in DVD or Blu-Ray format.
The average Japanese author is not going to care about whether or not the gaijin will correctly interpret their work in other languages."Furthermore, the purchasing power of anime fans is also declining."

I haven't watched a lot of Japanese Zombie shows, but come to think of it no really.does this surprise you
I compare it to JoJo Part II, i.e. the Vampire baddie is seeking a means to survive in the daylight, which would be Nezuko (the red stone of Aja) and the goal is to simply keep her away from him now. Next season is probably going to be the last based on the current plot.Like the whole mystic plot becomes Resident Evil clone. Tanjiro became a Ichigo level mary sue. Nezuko (and by extension Tanjiro) doesn't have the conflict her entire character is built on. Everybody is already as strong as Hasira's are. The villains are just boring. Even the fight scenes feel empty, who gives a shit about techniques when everything is shit compared to the hero's techniques?
200% absolutely they will nigger up more anime seeking western shekels to stem the bleeding, quote me on that (see also Nintendo franchises getting darker than an undersea trench). You'll find me saying similar shit about Japan's economy dying in the early 90s in this thread, it never recovered, and anime has been suffering in quality/run times ever since. The nips, lacking foresight, will happily sell their franchises to the lowest bidder (Netfux/Amazon/HBO), giving us legions of nigLet shows ala Deathnote 2017 & Cowboy Bebop etc. There are fears that there will be more westernization pandering.
Women's lib Daru in Steins;Gate, SJW talk in Demi-chan, the My Girlfriend is a Gal fiasco... to name just a few.The average Japanese author is not going to care about whether or not the gaijin will correctly interpret their work in other languages.
Such ignorance has been the detriment of many good anime.
Noir. Get the original dub and sub actors back with the obvious exception being TARAKO. I'm still shocked she died. I could see someone like Mariko Suzuki replacing her as Altena. Or Michie Tomizawa. Hell any of the original voice actresses in Sailor Moon could do it.With anime becoming like Hollywood and getting remake crazy what series do you think should be remade? I call dibs on Haruhi Suzumiya. I'd love to see it back in present day.
They have some of the best-directed action sequences in film history. There are movies as well? How are they.
Tbf earlier they mention for this excuse was Sigmund Freud. So according to the train show, a zombie's weakness is panties.

It's a sports show at heart, which I ordinarily don't care for, but the "sport" is so fun to watch that it's one of my all-time favorites. The concept of the world is ridiculous, but the show plays it completely straight. The characters aren't particularly complex, but they all bounce off each other well and the secondary cast is enormous. How is the show?
If I had a dollar for everytime I've seen "the secret to chasing away the undead is through the power of sexy thoughts" in manga I'd have enough to buy a fairly decent meal.Tbf earlier they mention for this excuse was Sigmund Freud.
