Not Just Bikes / r/fuckcars / Urbanists / New Urbanism / Car-Free / Anti-Car - People and grifters who hate personal transport, freedom, cars, roads, suburbs, and are obsessed with city planning and urban design

The thing that they never seem to realize is in the suburbs, walking to the store may burn a "significant" amount of calories (though not really as walking a mile only burns ~100 calories), but if they moved to a "walkable" neighborhood where the store is physically closer, the amount of energy burned will be a rounding error.
They really don't realize how stupid they sound, do they? We're talking what, 70 cals a mile? You'd have to spend several hours walking at a decent pace to offset a bag of chips lmao, and who the fuck has the time to gallivant around for that long...

In his "Gym of Life" video (which I'm glad has started to become a bit more widely mocked), NJB's example of how you inherently walk more in dense cities is taken from the notoriously well-researched and factual documentary... Supersize Me.

Yeah I'm sure the documentary where Spurlock lied about his crippling alcoholism and vegan diet prior to the "experiment" wouldn't dare do something like fake a step counter.

Why do these people constantly make me defend things that don't need it? The oil industry doesn't need help, McDonald's doesn't need help, but there are legitimate criticisms you can make of them without flagrantly lying and for some reason the lying upsets me more.

Walking up a flight of stairs burns like 6 calories. The gym of life is bullshit. These fat faggots (and check to see, they're likely to be fatter than me) think a 15 minute walk twice a day is the same as a 30 minute high-energy gym workout.

What we're really missing is the gym of work where you continually lift 50 pound boxes and bags all day at work. That's where you start to burn some calories.

This is exactly what pisses me off about the "gym of life" crap. They really think that walking one block down the street is going to keep them from being obese. All that can be undone by just eating at one of those fancy tacos places they boast about being within walking distance of their homes. The real way to burn calories is to keep your heart rate up above resting for extended periods of time.

Ironically I've seen an overlap between guys who like cars and like going to the gym. Meanwhile we've noticed fuckcars users who are fat as fuck.

The gym of life is exactly part of what these channels are selling to fat retards. It’s like incel shit - everything wrong with your life can be blamed on X. You a fat NEET with no way to get your dick wet? It’s easy to blame it on Big Car (or Big Vagina). Listen to my channel for details how!

Whenever they say the reason they have no friends is because of cars I want to be like "my brother in Christ it is not the car that preventing you from having friends. It's you".

They're decades behind the Europeans, Japanese, and Americans when it comes to driving dynamics.
That's because making a car with good handling is actually really really hard, historically Euros (not Germans though) were the best at it, and in fact even Japs quite never caught up to instant classics like Peugeot 205 GTI or anything Alfa Romeo did last century. And Chinese aren't even Japs, so.....
They omitted putting immobilizers in their American cars, unlike their Canadian counterparts to save money, only because Canada has a law requiring them while the US doesn't. This is just one example, I've heard people who supply parts for Hyundai and KIA just say the parts themselves are just shoddily made.
Can confirm, in fact Hyundai started by licensing shit from Mitsubishi (KIA did the same with Mazda) and if you compared the stuff they directly copied from Mitsu, the dip in quality was shocking.

This is exactly why this whole "movement", "fandom", "philosophy", whatever you want to call it is 100% bullshit because if there was a compelling argument to be made, they wouldn't have to lie so much about it.

Found this insane article about F-150s:
These articles are starting to become schizophrenic at this point with the weird reaches and associations they're making. Like a normal person would read this and it would read similar to how butter is Nazism.

"If you showed this to a catholic in the 1400s and told them it was the devil they would believe you."
Yeah and if you showed them a man in a fur suit they'd also believe you're the devil you retard.

I think it should be clear to everyone that there is only one group in the world that is capable of building a California HSR, the Chinese. A blank check, no quality control, and a chance to flex on Americans in their home turf would see that HSR get finished in no time.

As long as someone films the process and turns it into a documentary I'm fine with it. I've really wanted a sequel to Empire of Dust.

On a side note, I find it hilarious that car ownership has increased as cities have become more anti-car.

Like many policies hatched by bugmen city dwellers, they often wind up having opposite effect of what was intended. It's almost comical given how often it happens.

Don't socialists or communists have a disproportionate representation on r/fuckcars?

This is something I find funny because in a socialist system, I doubt many would have many options for a third place or newer restaurants.

It wouldn't matter. The sort of useful idiots that inhabit places like r/fuckcars are some of the first to get themselves purged once the revolution occurs. Though I suppose that if it's a big enough gulag, it might have more than one cafeteria.

All you need is a full tank of gas, a turn of the ignition, and a highway. In concept, it’s a romantic. In execution, it’s this.
After some autism, I have determined that the picture is taken at the Edens Spur, and the specific picture is showing how a toll road in the Chicago suburbs right before the lanes narrow to one and there's a sharp curve to merge into another freeway.

The picture out of the back suggests it's actually something he took and not just got from an Image Search; it's not one of the stock "busy traffic" pictures urbanists like. It's almost like he was from Chicago, knew that road well, and yet chose it anyway to frame cars and highways in a deceptive light.

Hey, what are the odds?

LOL fuck no. I hate niggers because I've met them on the bus. It's only the people who are shielded from reality that aren't "bigoted" and "xenophobic."
I found the higher exposure to dealing with black people the higher the racism is. That's why people who live slightly outside of cities like Atlanta hate them.

Unironic support for the WEF:

If you looked up "useful idiot" you would find a picture of this guy. As if I needed to be given more reason to hate fuckcars more than I already have

He's the same guy who made the Chinese EV shill post a few days ago.

More WEF propaganda from him:

He thinks children's TV shows brainwash kids to like cars:

That's really concerning to him because his son is raised by screens:

He's planning to move to South Africa:

He's clearly never even bothered to look at a map because Johannesburg is a sprawling, car-dependent city with tons of single-family homes. It's about the same density as Los Angeles.
