I hate even to think about it, but Nick has the mentality often associated with family annihilators. I could actually see him doing that at this point.
I don't believe I've ever uttered anything close to this, and I feel my American soul die a little but:

Let's hope the cops confiscated all his firearms as evidence.

I maintain that if he actually started streaming in the way he used to he’d be back real quick. And he’d cover all his legal costs in seconds.

But we know he won’t be smart enough to do that and take the advice of everything.
I don't think his ego could handle a stream right now and that must be killing him. It'd be the most successful stream since the Depp trial.

Nick doesn't look overly humbled or conciliatory and knowing him he'll just feed that.
Is the Nick we know cocaine? Is he drugs?
If he would stay sober he might - I think - face some grey reality.

*I mean even Piggie Smalls in Mehico behaves a bit when he less high all the time.

I sincerely doubt that Nick or Kayla got any sleep last night. Sitting on a metal bench, handcuffed, surrounded by criminals, insane hobos, and thuggish police officers, just waiting as the seconds and minutes tick by, it is very difficult to fall asleep. I'm guessing that he sent that Locals message when he got home and went straight to bed.

Society used to have standards. I'm not saying it was ever perfect, of course, but we have fallen so far. In an ideal situation people who abuse drugs and alcohol like Nick would not be allowed to participate in society at all, let alone as a lawyer.
Society used to have standards. people who abuse ... alcohol like Nick would not be allowed to participate in society at all, let alone as a lawyer.

When the fuck has this ever been the case? I think the alcoholic lawyer is one of the oldest stereotypes out there.

how is this allowed lmao

Anyone can report to CPS & will remain anonymous except in the case of mandated reporters. Their information has a somewhat elevated status & it goes along with part of their job that they must report concerns & do it with the authority of their title & name.

I guess I was right that Nick isn't the type to let the police in without a warrant

They had a warrant. Says in the report Nick threw it on the ground.

People do care about the police breaking down the door and raiding a house containing 4 kids, two coke-fried women and a bunch of guns- all for a fantastically unlikely bet that the warrant happens to be later deemed legally insufficient (buy a lotto ticket) and that the police are going to, without hindsight, decide to manufacture consent that they don't have any reason to need. That's not just more mentally traumatic but upping the ante like that makes it that much more likely that something very bad happens.
A bunch of cops tossing your house is plenty traumatic, whether or not they have to break down the door.

Although my biggest question is why one of the kids was at the door and where the fuck the two adults at the residence were. I would think they were busy flushing drugs but apparently they either didn't do that or they had so much that it didn't matter.
That's definitely the real reason. My bet is on Kayla being too high or retarded to open the safe.
