Tardski's retardation keeps his ego way more in check than Nick's does, Nick is the type of midwit narc who can form elaborate copes and justifications for why he's right in any given situation. Andy also presumably didn't have a safety net of being independently wealthy, he mentioned having to go back and live with his parents prior to cleaning up. Nick has both the temperament and circumstances to ensure the cycle of self-immolation continues.
It still takes time. Which is why if any of his family and friends truly cared about him, his wife or the kids they would have forced the issues way sooner. But everyone is like ‘you can’t force things’

Either they are drug users or surrounded by them. They love to make comments on appearances using drug references all over this site, "meth teeth," "coke bloat," etc.
to be fair to the church at least from nicks seethe at his church I think they did try to intervene at some point or the other. Pretty sure it was confirmed they did stage an intervention at one point. They likely aren't browsing the farms or watching nick's streams and would have little reason to think its anything but rekeita drinking way too much. Can't smell coke or molly on people the way you can booze (or can you? Never touched that shit so I'm assuming) and I'm sure nick passed it off as just drinking or something about narcolepsy.
Andy also showed an uncharacteristic amount of contrition and self-reflection, and is, by his own admission much less responsible than Nick. Andy is a 30+ year old who lived off his parents, he's not proud of it, or judgmental of other people for how they live their lives. And crucially, he's not responsible for anyone else in his life like Nick is.
the difference is that tardski doesn't have nick's pride and insane levels of cope and delusion as said above his retardation actually makes its easier to have his come to Jesus moment. Nick has had dozens of "aim aim aim" moments and is still trying to cope and be sly about his actual reality and need to PULL THE FUCK UP.

Basically if you're doing more than a gram a night you either live in one of those unfortunate areas with absolute garbage product or you have an even worse set of circumstances bearing down on you. The safety net of family friends and money Nick had are supposed to be used to make sure stuff like this doesn’t happen. And even Andy has his family. It says a lot that seeing Tardski’s family were more helpful than Nick’s.
We don't know where they were getting it from. If they were getting it during some of the "emergency drives" to the Twin Cities, that's like a four hour round trip.
The funny thing is that Rekieta seemed to think that they WERE reading stuff online. Because yeah I'm sure the only reason you would think that the Rekietas were on drugs was because you read FanFic Farms and not because of the fact that they were on drugs, as evidenced by the discovery of the massive pile of drugs.
No "we" did not feel that way about Andy. I've followed Andy here off and on since the days of Warski Live.
We are all surrounded by drug users, it's a jungle out there. Any significant amount of time peoplewatching will confer such knowledge even without close personal relationships with junkies.
Nick vehemently defies any challenge to his decision-making and will irrationally double down on stuff that's clearly harming himself just to prove himself right. He's a completely lost cause; it's hilarious. According to his "friends" he apparently reads his own thread way too much but that never stopped him from oversharing about his degeneracy or even paring any of it back, instead the substance abuse escalated and now he's just bitter and angry and it's entirely his own fault. He's mentally incapable of taking a critical look at himself because he's driven entirely by carnal desires. Nobody even has to do anything, it's pure self-destruction.
