Most people know how to tare the scale with an empty version of the baggie you’re using. No one dealing with the weight Nick was caught with would use such a tiny scale. It would either be a triple beam or a larger digital kitchen scale. People also tare digital scales with an empty plastic cup to measure large amounts. Thats way too small to even be worth breaking out a scale for.

I think it's a typo or legalese for advanced neglect. Still, I would like to make one point:
The fact that I can't say, "Rekieta 100% did not physically nor sexually abuse his children," is itself a condemnation.
I cannot comfortably say Nick did not abuse his children. He's alluded to beating them unprompted, made multiple jokes about child molestation, and verbally attacked his children on-stream. Nick muddied the water so much that I can't rule out anything.

There was also the reverse of the document that named the pastor. From what we could read it said something about no reports of physical/sexual abuse. Unfortunately we don't know the full context. We also can't say they didn't do some investigating and turned something up in the week before they came knocking, but at least it's something pointing the the fact it isn't worse.

It's fucking shocking to me how many of you want to deny the agency of either Nick or Kayla (or even April) in this. In Nick's case, he could easily have just said no and even if he had to go through an expensive divorce with a drug addict he is from a wealthy family and his livelihood would never have been in jeopardy.
