Just one question: how in the fuck are non-native English speakers supposed to learn these??

Incaic culture was also known for sacrificing little kids by keeping them hungry and freezing them in the winter, surely that's better than boring "white culture" protecting children and all that shit.

Also I bet you 10 dollars this peruvian woman is white as fuck but is suffering a massive amount of White GuiltTM to make up for her whiteness.

So... Apparently weird Halloween-themed noises in the IM-system are panic-inducing.

Tumblr loves Halloween but hooooo boy, if somebody is actually scared, it's the end of the fucking world.
i sure do love when they claim to be triggered by the slightest noises or images as if it'll literally kill them, perhaps implying that people with actual trauma are fucking pussies.

Remember, kids, Halloween is the devil's birthday rly triggering, so let's just not celebrate it.

Eeeh, thing is, Tumblr has an obsession with the 'spoopy' (ugh) aesthetic. They want the cute candy corn and pumpkins and orange-and-black and witches!!! (Harry Potter or Wiccan, pick your poison) and the famed pumpkin-spice lattes which are all over the US for some reason. And don't forget that shitty Skeleton War meme that started a few years ago and comes back every October.
They want the cutesy eerie stuff, not actually scary things Halloween is supposed to be known for? idk, I'm rambling o/

Tumblr certainly has a thing for reclaiming shit that's usually associated with children...

It boils down to basic Tumblr mentality: they want to be the weird kids, but they genuinely don't like anything weird. So they boil down weird things to the tamest they can be.

So they TOTALLY love Halloween, because they're the "weird kids" that no one at school understands. But they don't like scary or spooky things, just lesbians in witch hats. You could substitute any sort of "weird kid" obsession--anime, comics, games, even something broad like internet humor--and they'll strip it down to the level that fits their sensibilities.

Basically, at their core, they would be far happier drinking their PSLs while watching Gilmore Girls on Netflix--which really is fine if that's what you like to do--but they won't let themselves because then, horror of horrors, they're just like other girls.

So they're the developmentally challenged left equivalent of those guys who say they're total weebs and only have ever watched Naruto or total metalheads who have only listened to Metallica in their post-Alternica phase, etc.

How do these freaks even function irl?? honestly
I highly doubt these people extend their extreme snowflake behavior into arenas where people can respond in anything other than text. Like I've said before, I've never seen or heard of anybody having an extreme freakout irl about something as trivial as a colour or a smell. Now I'm sure there are those of you even now firing up YouTube to prove me wrong BUT the freakout videos peppering YouTube are generally either autists or HARDCORE Speshul Snowflakes which are a rarity. The truth is, for 90% of these people the super duper speshul problems that make them unique and interesting and supremely needy individuals only exist between keyboard and chair.

Basically. Notice how their "spoopy" (bc "spooky is racist UwU") thoughts is just dumb kiddy crap and not genuine scares. Or, like anything they have a mayor "interest" in, be it movies or comics or something. They just like the "aesthetics" and basics, but never go beyond knowing anymore (they only like Disney and Marvel movies, only play the most mainstream games, blah blah blah).

I dunno, you'll never see a tumblrina sperging over Michael Myers' Halloween or Nightmare on Elm Street since that's too "triggering and problematic"; better have cartoon lesbians in witch hats or something.
