I think people aren't upset about the lack of moralfagging, but it is pretty annoying to see them Noseguard so hard while claiming to be unbiased. I don't think anyone is looking to these Lawtubers for a Kino Casino style take-down. But it's really annoying to hear nothing but 30 minutes of "NICK IS MAH FRIEND AND I LOVE HIM" followed by extremely biased arguments in favor of Nick's legal situation. Legal Mindset is less pro nick but more "I hate the idea of warrants and constitutional rights being violated" so he's automatically on the side of Nick in terms of the Warrant or whether or not his rights were violated regardless of evidence to the contrary.

I don't expect anything from lawyers. I do find their arguments amusing, especially when they are the far fetched type that makes them sound like retards, regardless of the actual legal technicalities. I think he could 100%. If he had a genuine redemption arc people would reward him for it. BUT:

1. He has to stop coping and take accountability. He has to come out and just say "I fucked up, I know I fucked up," with no qualifications or deflections. Nick seems temperamentally incapable of this.

2. Even if he could do this, step two is he has to say "I'm getting off the Internet for a while to fix my life." And then actually disappear off the Internet for like, six months minimum. A year plus would probably be better.

AND THEN eventually, he could come back, and if he has done everything right, and somehow he is still with Kayla, and they have custody of the kids back, IF he went back to doing actual law content and was sober, I think he could have his redemption arc.

So while it's possible in theory, there are just too many hurdles to pass for it to ever really happen, IMO. Let me take your question and flip it around.

Why are we constrained to judging Rekieta only based on the law? Or, for that matter, why are they? Are lawyers creatures incapable of discussing anything other than the law all the time?
