Yeah the V-sync setting from monday, right? And even that doesn't make any sense because it's the same string of inputs, with the same timing of the consecutive inputs, only now without the initial delay of starting the string. I know his brain has holes in it from years of alcohol abuse but even then I'd expect him to be able to offset starting that string of inputs a tiny bit earlier. Maybe I'm wrong here? I don't really play fighting games but from what I've fucked around with in SF6, when I got a combo going I went off of a rhythm and not the visuals. The moves seem to have a very specific timing, even before they visually come out on the screen. For confirming hits and everything outside of a combo I can understand but it's easier to assume he's full of shit and just not that good at the game.

No, it's not. He went for Leanna when she wasn't a mature adult, less alone possess a business degree. My Leanna lore is a bit fuzzy, but I'm sure someone can back me up on this, but if I remember correctly, Leanna was going through personal issues of her own when she was living in PA. Hell, she used to take the train to come see him. Why didn't Phil drive the 160 miles to drive to Allentown, spend the weekend with her, and drive back? His back, dood! Also, that was going into his making khantent time...so, Leanna would have to take the bus to the train station, get on the commuter train, and Phil would pick her up at the train station. Without delays, that's a GOOD 5 hours ONE way. Driving to Allentown, from Bridgeport, without traffic...can easily take 3 hours....and if you wanna Smokey and the Bandit it, an hour and a half. Again, that's if you're willing to throw caution to the wind and are just trying to get there.

Point being, Phil knew women in his age range, especially healthy mentally and emotionally ones, know Phil is a piece of shit...and I believe Phil knows this. He's tried to go for women his age, but they shot him down and he figured "Well, If I go for an 18 year old, they won't know the difference. By that time they figure it out, it'll be too late." I think that in the end it all boils down to Phil just being so fucking unlikeable that people are willing to show more sympathy towards Nick despite being an objectively worse person. Phil is somewhat right when he says that he's just some nobody on the internet and that there are worse people out there deserving of the hate. While it's true that there's worse people on YouTube itself (no need to even bring rapists and murderers, let alone dictators or warlords), very few people manage to be as unlikeable as Phil. Even people like Jake Paul or Keemstar you can somewhat respect because they play the villain and own that role and the hate that comes with it while making a career out of it. Phil, while pretending to be a nice person, manages to be just as hateful and petty as them while gloating about how different and better he is.

I would also add the complete impossibility of him losing lolcow status. Unlike wings, DSP will only get worse. The older he gets, the more bitter he will be. There is no chance of redemption for a man who thinks there's nothing to be redeemed.

He will quite literally be a lolcow until he dies, and his misery will most probably be online for everyone to see. He needs the attention and the money.

Maybe at some point he will get some inheritance and therefore some sense of financial security (I dread imagining this board on that day), but as you know, he will fuck it all up.

The only way he can avoid complete failure is to have trusted people's guidance (same people who made him quit the documentary), but the ego and greed is destructive enough to ruin him without anyone else's help.
