I can see it happening at a Catholic church but if they're Protestants, there's an 80% chance that the church will pray with them for their rehabilitation, for their children, and to get their lives on track. Some protestant reverends even visit prisons to try to help turn hardened criminals around so I doubt two people being addicts is enough to shake them.

I guess maybe I've read more of the thread than you have, but there are tons of people saying they are incapable and unable to because they weren't raised by parents who taught them how.
