I held hope that this would be the turning point. He wouldn't have gave a damn about conditions of release, if he cared his kids are gone. Those conditions only followed along with what CPS would require. They literally give an extra incentive to straighten up. The difference is that CPS can't arrest you for violating. They just take your rights. He is doomed.
You're expecting too much. Nick is a stallion that needs to be buck broken. He'll have that moment, probably, but it won't be for awhile. Unless the Noseguards don't stop. If Barnes and Viva and TUG and EVS don't fucking stop, then yeah Nick stands 0 chance at what would've been an easy case.

I'm going to push back on the kids, one being as young as 6, being expected to have pride enough to keep the entire house clean when their own parents don't even care. You're not just expecting 6-16 year olds to take pride in cleaning up after themselves despite no adult role-models, which is already a stretch, but you're expecting them to in addition clean up after their parents.
The 16 year old would surely be capable of tidying up or heating up a can of food, but there’s every chance he (or she?) was already traumatised by the whole situation and was just hiding in his room. Or staying out of the house.
Teenagers don’t always cope well with adversity even if their parents do everything right.

Isn't Nicks' Easter stream a great evidence he's a heretic?
I'm going to guess the Catholics in the thread are right about how excommunication from a Catholic church doesn't work that way. He's most likely protestant since Catholics are a minority in Minnesota (I also remember something a while back about him being Lutheran), but that doesn't change much. His church will most likely pray for him instead of punishing him. This nigga needs some prayer anyway.

Regardless, I'm not sure where the idea that it'd be cool if he was kicked out of Christianity comes from. It's fun to watch the trainwreck but from a Christian perspective, it just does not make sense to turn people away. The faith has multiple prophets and 1 apostle who used to be complete and utter trainwrecks.

His church did their part by running to the police in the hopes they'll get the kids some damn soap and the eldest a psych eval. Now we just focus on the drama while it lasts. My bet is that after being dragged out for a few years, he'll get a very nice plea deal that doesn't reflect his crimes at all and the grifting will be turned up to 11 as he struggles to pay bills.

A lot of you guys seem like obfuscating retards when it comes to Nick's kids and how much Nicks responsibility can be absolved for their poor condition
Is anyone really saying that? Most I’ve seen is people saying it’s common for 16 year olds to pick up some slack but I don’t see it as being promoted as a defense of nick. Seems most everyone is saying that doesn’t apply in this situation where the parents are zonked out and shit.

If Nick and Kayla were actively discouraging it, why did they allow Aaron to clean up a little hovel of a table and a couch. Why did they allow Aaron to cook them spaghettio’s. It seems that Nick and Kayla didn’t give a fuck and never taught their kids to do anything themselves. So you’ve got a little situation where the kids are unable to do anything.
Oh my God. The retarded arguments are coming from inside the thread now. Here's your reply.

Agreed. Being able to do something and being motivated to do it are not the same. It's demoralizing having to walk past your Christian conservative father's cocaine sex orgies or your parents throwing blunt objects at each other.

It's not surprising the children weren't cleaning up the common areas so they could be closer to the junkies.

Also I may be wrong about what extent heresy is but doesn't Nick shit talk his church all the time now? That combined with his current "lifestyle" I mean...

A church like the one Nick went to probably doesn't have some kind of formal heresy/excommunication procedure. Regardless, can you imagine him ever showing up at that church again, after all of this? I can't, not if he is going to stay defiant about the whole situation. He clearly grew to resent the place anyways and now believes his current situation is their fault. Now that his kids are gone I don't imagine he'll be going back there anyways.

One thing that we haven't laughed at balldo enough about is when the police brought him back to the station to talk about drugs etc he was still crying about how stressed he is because of his kids. Coke? No I don't do coke. I just hate my fucking kids officer.

Yeah that was fucking embarrassing. Imagine you just got busted with an ounce of coke, and you're well known for your alcoholism, and you're coping to the police about how hard it is to have 5 kids. Really that just shows a total lack of self awareness on his part, it makes him look like such a selfish piece of shit.

Nick was raised Catholic. Kayla and her family are Protestant and he went along with them, assumedly because he never actually cared.

There's also a saint who died an opium addict.

I can, because the church is his only foreseeable path to "redemption". They will likely accept him back if he cleans up and then he can spin that into this whole redemption arc. Honestly if he doesn't go in that direction, then there IS no direction for him to go, imo anyway. It's that or death/prison. His whole IRL social circle are either criminals or the church people and his whole online persona is based around drinking liquor for money now. He's like a shitty version of ShoeNice.

You're a retard. I'm done arguing, go on pretending that 16 year olds are helpless cant can't even pick their noses by themselves. Have fun!
This is utterly the most victim blaming thing I've ever seen in my life. And here I thought balldo washers couldn't get any lower, but here we are... blaming their own fucking kids who were getting neglected.

THEY ARE KIDS!!! I learned how to do laundry when I went away to college at 18 because in high school, I was running from sport to sport. You think I had time between all my shit to stop and wash every single football pad I wore everyday? I'm thankful my mom did it, but at 14, 15, 16, 17, if I wasn't running around from sport to sport, I was hunkered down doing homework. A 16 year old is just supposed to drop everything and take up the job of a parent? That's the fucking parent's job. Also, my mother had me focus on sports and school and not laundry, you know, like a good fucking parent should!

If you've seen "Hillbilly Elegy" on Netflix - TLDR: It's the story of JD Vance and growing up with his heroin addicted mother. Vance starts getting into trouble and his older sister goes to the grandmother crying saying, "I could have done more." The grandmother (Glenn Close) says something very profound: "You have to live your own life. It is your mother's responsibility to take care of JD. Not yours. You're a child yourself. You have your own life." Ultimately the grandmother raises Vance in place of his mother.

Moral of that story: Rekieta's kids in no way should be held accountable for "not stepping it up." They're fucking kids. Even if the kid is 17, he can't enlist in the military, smoke a cigarette, have a beer. He's a fucking kid. Think about things you were going through as a kid... should we hold you accountable for not making the correct decisions at 14, 15, 16? Give me a fucking break and go choke on the end of a shotgun.

For those bashing or blaming the the kids for even 5%, GET ON THE WALL WITH YOUR COKEHEAD LEADER.

Also, I've thought about this and I think this needs to be said in regards to people from the reports getting doxxed. I've spoiler'd it for those like Nick who "don't give a shit!"
For those angry about people getting doxxed like the sister, babysitter, etc. IT NEEDS TO HAPPEN. Everyone ever involved with the Rekieta's needs to be. Why? Because these people in turn will be VERY angry at Nick, and that's what he needs to be shamed into rehab. Innocent people and "reporters" on the neglect of his children need to get even MORE mad than they already are, and maybe doxxing them will help.

Nick is a malignant narcissist. No getting around it. Every single one of his behaviors post arrest proves this on multiple facts, especially the "not taking any accountability" and blaming government conspiracies. The reason he is in a downward spiral is because he could care less what his "small Scandinavian town" thinks of him... until everyone in that town starts to shame him more than the internet. How do you do that? Doxxing people involved in the case to get them even MORE angry.

I think many people speculating on his church life really haven't been to church a ton. If you are a part of a church and you do what Nick has done, you'll never be looked at the same, no matter what. You've brought shame upon the church, you've been "fake" the whole time, you will forever be in the "out" group, and you will never be trusted again. Whether or not this is the Christian way to be about it, that's another discussion. You might as well leave and go to another church, if you want to go somewhere.

This is at least my experience, though I've mostly been to rural places. I couldn't say if more liberal or urban type places are different or not, though many times those places are barely even Christian to begin with.

@FROG stick to something you're good at like drawing amphibians.

Oh wait, your picture book isn't even out yet.
All the time hes spending on Balldo guarding can be used "working" on delivering his campaign. The cognitive dissonance is hilarious to me :story:
Each single reply to @FROG should be telling him to get his fat ass back to work, nothing else

Fat racist retard who can't even deliver his frog drawings on time is asking literal children to do fucking laundry.
Yeah the eldest is 17 and they can do their own laundry. Does this fat blob of lard expect the 12-year-old to do the same? Or the 17-year-old should do laundry for all 5 of the children?
Seriously?

They are going with the, "It's not me that's wrong its the children" defense.
