My guess is one, his marriage was already not great at that time, two, he already had a problem with alcohol (though again, it got even worse later on), three, he always resented having moral constraints placed on him by his family and incel church prudes and always fantasized about a hedonistic "party" lifestyle, feeling like it was something he had missed out on in life.
Now I'm sure Kayla had lots of problems too. You don't have to pick one or the other though
I’m going to give Kayla and Nick credit for the first dozen years. Five kids is a lot of work, they managed to at least keep them healthy, fed and going to school and church with no problems in their community. Obviously a lot easier with grandad’s money, but they still had to change a lot of diapers, wipe noses, lose sleep, wash faces and get kids to school most mornings.
I think after a decade in the trenches with four small kids Nick started to tire of it, and then a band-aid baby appeared. Band-aid babies are usually the last gasp of a dying marriage. The youngest is six? Nick started streaming about six years ago? I think Nick was already looking for outlets and was restless while Kayla dealt with the newborn. Kayla took care of the baby, kids, Nick got into Maddox’s lolsuit and streaming.
Then the youngest gets to pre-school age, Nick e-fame is taking off and Kayla thinks she’s losing him. For the first time in 15 years Kayla doesn’t have a baby or toddler to care for. After devoting a decade plus caring for small kids, suddenly not having a kid under 4 gives you free time you are not used to. Meanwhile Nick is spending all his time with this streaming stuff and talking to people online.
She starts trying to look better, boob job, plastic surgery, etc…being something other than SAH super mom, because Nick talks about OF chicks, anime chick, porn, etc... starts trying to indulge in all this kinky stuff Nick likes to tease on stream. Gets involved with the Locals bs, etc… Hedonism…
Nick having so many kids is odd given his attitude. It has to do with heirs getting a percentage of the family trust (they are usually structured that way) so the more minor children the bigger stake Nick controlled until they reach certain ages. I think Nick envisioned himself as winning the family dynasty wealth via out breeding the competition. He just didn’t consider how much work and time kids take on life and marriage even if granddaddy’s fortune is subsidizing them. Five kids don’t leave couples with much “me time” or free time.
Nick eventually grew resentful of losing prime years of HIS life dealing with kids and what they needed, not what Nick wanted!
Many people have noted that Nick never seemed happy about his kids. Usually the father of one or three or five occasionally gets sentimental or gushes about his kids. Never saw any evidence of this with Nick. No cute stories, antidotes, bragging, nothing. Only time kids were mentioned was bitch and moan sessions.
Ffs even after the arrest, one of the only comments he’s made, is once again harping on the mileage required to drive his kid around by granddad. Unreal. He really seems to dislike and resent his own kids.
If I had to guess his temper, late night hours and locking himself in his basement/ bedroom meant his kids sort of feared him and weren’t closely bonded to him. They probably preferred mom, nanny and each other which would have made him seethe. I see Nick as that dad that when he finally felt like giving a kid the time of day and they didn’t eagerly run to him, he got pissed off and decided he wouldn’t make that mistake again. Kids don’t appreciate how lucky they are that Nick had twenty minutes to spare for them. I can’t imagine what he was prick he was while angrily being forced to drive them places.,
Good lawgic has kids, so if he’s saying 6 years olds wash themselves, maybe he taught his kids to do so.
lol. I’d like someone to ask his wife if those kids were bathing all by themselves at six. I bet you’d have a very different answer.
