So I’m assuming going to school for a psychiatry doctorate is extremely expensive, without scholarships (:_(
I can't speak too accurately on the American state of things, but yes. Not only will you be paying out the ass for the degree, it will take up an enormous amount of time (5+ years) during which you will not be able to work full-time. It's a wonder anyone even bothers.

You could try the alternate path of becoming a clinical psychologist instead (you won't be able to prescribe medication, but otherwise you're just as qualified), but all that really saves you is a bit of effort due to course requirements will likely be a bit lesser - still takes about the same amount of time assuming the US is like Australia in it being a Masters program.

Nick's parents (or at least his father) was visiting him sometime in the past month or two.
What bothers me about this is that there would have been numerous visible warning signs that something was not right in that household, particularly during the time Nick's father visited. Now I'm willing to accept that it's possible he might have stayed at a hotel and didn't actually set foot in the crack den, but if Nick's church noticed something was really off, and Kayla's family was raising issues, then I'm a little perplexed at how Nick's parents were just living in blissful ignorance that they're grandchildren were going hungry.

They must have face-timed their own grandchildren every now and then right? And they didn't notice that they were a good few pounds lighter and were wearing the same clothes as last week's call? I get there's a stereotype of American boomers being self absorbed and not very family oriented, and I am from a culture where grandparents are very active and present in the family dynamic, but I have a very hard time believing that they were completely ignorant to what was going on.

Point out where it says that in the agreement.

Also why would he pay $5,000 for the same conditions he could get for free? That would buy a lot of cocaine.
That's the bail bond agency acknowledging their relationship with Nick and agreement to front a bond to ensure his appearance.

You sign an additional agreement with the agency that grants them the right to come onto your property and into your residence to arrest you without additional requirements should you violate conditions. The can establish other conditions on their own. They're not risking 50k and just telling people "Well, off you go. Bye."

Those two pieces of paper are not the only parts of the bail agreement that Nick executed.

I would think Nick & family would be visiting his parents in Florida during the winter rather than them coming up to visit him. But that is speculation.
I've always thought it strange that he never really spoke about taking the kids on real vacations. Everyone I know of even lower-upper-middle-class takes their kids on vacations sometimes - if not to St. Moritz (though some do that), at least to somewhere driveable for some time every year (and those in higher brackets are often doing multiples a year). Plus lot of Minnesotans of all income bands, but especially middle, tend to have cabins/homes "up North," or at least rent them now and then. That they take kids to.

But Nick...dropped the kids with his parents...and went to the tacky swinger island. Alone with Kayla. And then hit up a casino. And the Gay 90s. And Pleasure Palace. (All, thankfully, not with the kids! ...but still, not with the kids.). Where are the occasional trips abroad, or an East Coast historic tour, or to the Colorado mountains, or a ski weekend, a drive out to the Badlands, or a weekend at the fucking Wisconsin Dells?

Actually 3 people already replied with the real reason, and it was because he was receiving drugs through the federal postal service.
Nick violated 18 USC 922(g)(3). He's a user of/addicted to an unlawful controlled substance.

The ATF had a hard-on FPS Russia. They don't give a fuck about Nick.

Anna once got very drunk or drugged while hanging out with the Rekietas. Nick detailed how she was vomiting and incoherent, and how Kayla had to take care of her. I remember Nick describing Kayla as a natural "nurturer" or "caregiver" about the incident. This story was shared by Nick. likely over a year ago, with Anna not present and the story told in hindsight. Does anyone remember this stream?

Probably a recounting of this:
I think a remember another story where Anna got blackout drunk at a con and Cecil had to watch out for her.

There is no way Kayla is the "primary influence in [Nick's] cuckery".

Nor does it make sense that Nick took cocaine to cope with being a cuck.

Nick took cocaine because he wanted to. Because it made him feel good. Not because he's wewwy sads about being a poor wittle cuck.
Bruh, it's called speculation. His reasons for doing coke could be anyones theory or something that none of us even thought of. Neither of us have any certainty on the reasons 'why'... we only know the 'how'.

I doubt either of us have past experience snorting coke up our nose much less any experience in the world of cuckery. So we speculate until we know for sure one day.

Plus speculating on Nick's degenerate behavior and drug use is part of the fun here, and is meant to be fun, no actual emotional investment is required to speculate on the absolute train wreck of the Balldo family. Except maybe the topic of the kids being neglected, that would be understandable. But not coke fueled cuckery, that shit is hilarious to point and laugh at.

And as for the whore Kayla Rekieta, she doesn't require any sympathy or simping. Even if Nick talked her into it, she lacked the will, character and fortitude to stand on her supposed principles and beliefs. Nick is a cuck and she is the female equivalent.

They are both pieces of shit and whatever the reason is for 'why' they did anything will not change that fact.

Probably late since I'm still about 15 pages behind, but I'm just going to put my autistic theory out. Also please note this is entirely my fanfiction, I'm not saying this is all true, I have no evidence to back it up, donut steel, etc.

I believe that Balldo has moved into his parents' home in Florida, and the father coming to Minnesota, along with the radio silence we experienced for a bit was due to him having to move equipment out of his coke den. Kayla unfortunately does not enjoy the same luxuries as her hubby, so she probably has to sleep in the Balldo manor as she can't move in with her parents, who are currentlo looking after her children. In which case, her sister maybe visiting to actually check on her condition.

The only underlying issue is whether the Balldo parents took him in to rein in his behavior. As I've ranted before in this thread, I don't believe they are capable of and/or willing to do anything to curb his habits, based on how they had full view of his decline and yet no intervention was made, otherwise Balldo would be screeching about overbearing helicopter parents like he did with incel kiwis, scandinavian prudes, Dear Feeder, and so on. It's more likely that they leave him alone to pursue his drug & alcohol abuse, either out of some misplaced guilt for not letting him destroy his life earlier, or they don't want him spitting, pissing, and shitting blood all over their carpet from the withdrawals.
TLDR: maternal grandparents got the five kids, paternal grandparents got the big fussy baby, leaving the drug banshee to haunt the Lawpope mansion.
People are overthinking the new "studio", Hes just gonna remove all the liquor and focus more on the warhammer shit. Gonna be the same room.
With how much his hands shake, any figurine he paints is gonna come out like any modern "art" piece.

Hey, just a suggestion. If the Kiwis manage to get the footage first, make the watermark something NSFW so grifters on Youtube can't nab it. That'd be extra funny to see that salt.
It would be funny but site is SFW and I doubt Null would do it.

There is however a very good compromise that could be reached.

no. alcohol remains legal because it is so much easier to produce than any other drug, trying to enforce a prohibition on it is a losing battle.
other drugs are made from one specific plant (coke from coca leaf, opioids from poppy, cannabis is hemp) so you can control and outlaw the production to some degree. but alcohol can be made from any starch or sugar. grains, potatoes, fruit, these are basic foods people need to survive, trying to control them is impossible, and processing them into alcohol is as simple as mashing them up in a big water bucket, letting it sit in the basement for a while with some added yeast, and then distilling the result. anybody can do this at home with a makeshift still. might as well try to outlaw the baking of bread, it's not going to work.

the only way to get rid of alcohol is to have a very religious society and a strong religious ban on alcohol, like islam, so everybody is indoctrinated from birth to reject alcohol as sinful and forbidden.
To add to that. Distilled potent alcohol like Vodka and Rum are very recent in human history. It has mostly been beer and wine. Beer and wine were preferred over plain water because water was often unsanitary and unsafe, but, buy brewing and fermenting [insert thing here], you killed off all of the pathogens and parasites.

They have a relatively low ABV, about 4-8% on average for beer and 10-15% for wine. Everyone drank beer, they would give beer to toddlers because it was literally safer then water. Also, for poor folk, beer was a way to get cheap calories in because poor people didn't eat much because well........they were poor. Wine in certain cultures was reserved for adults and spacial occasions like a wedding or the yearly harvest feast, but beer was everywhere, on every part of the globe. The really harmful shit is the new age distilled liquor like Whiskey. It ramps up the alcohol by more then 3x. Yeah, that shit will kill your liver lol.
So is the current running theory that nick has been kicked out or something?

Is he living in the other house they kicked the family out of?

Some of the hints to this are "new studio" & "nick posting bond"

Will April take josh up on the offer of $1000?

Will nick peg juju with a balldo?

Or will /ourhero/ pastor kev save the day?

I am not sure, but it makes sense that the parents are not allowed to live with the children in CPS cases lol, IIRC the grandparents "secured" the house. I think the kids are still at their house and in their own beds, it's just now it's memaw and pawpaw running the home and taking care of them. I bet Nick is in the second house.

That whore needs crack, she'll take up Josh's offer of an easy 1k, she's an addict. An addict is going to do anything for money.

Based pastor is based. A true trad gigachad who takes care of his community as a leader and helps the people most vulnerable. Nick should take notes on how a true trad man is supposed to be.
They've invariably been lacking in humility and insight too, so telling them that their world is about to go tits up always falls on deaf ears.
It's his ego. "I am not a weak willed junkie, I can handle my coke and alcohol just fucking fine!"

No sympathy. He flew too close to the sun and his wings are melting. It's his own damn fault.

Does anyone know if Nick's 16 year old son is autistic or in anyway special needs? The fact he went to a different private school unlike his four siblings and his odd description make me think he might be.
He's older and it's not uncommon for homeschooled kids to attend normal school once they get older.

Also this is one of Nick's victims.

Two possibilities,

He's either going to remove the alcohol painting because he's an alcoholic and people pointing out you're an alcoholic makes it harder to be an alcoholic.

Or Kayla kicked him out of the house in which case LMAO.
Little factoid buried in some of the documents- the Rekietas actually own a second house on an adjacent property (if you look in Zillow, you'll find it with Nick and Kayla's names listed as owners) - there's a mention that they had a renter that they recently kicked out- so you have to wonder if one of them is setting up shop in the second house.

Did Nick get his weird comedian dreams from interacting with Chrissy Mayer and the WATP EU of meh “professional” comedians? Plus that show ended up being a shit show that even Mayer ended up skipping for some made up reason IIRC, and Nick likely bumped a few people by going for like twice as long as he was supposed to with his shitty set that was essentially just “racism heeheehoohoo”. I like to imagine he’s tried to get gigs from various clubs but got turned away or ghosted for that one specific video.
“Hey, can ‘the wise crackin lawyer’ do a set at your club?”
“Uh, let’s see… Just send in a sizzle reel so we can know what we’re working with”
“Yeah, here’s this one where I stay on for longer than I’m supposed to and brag about it, and it’s also my first and only actual set”
*cricket sounds*
Not a made up reason - her dad was murdered.

This may be a retarded question, but does anyone know why Kyle from PKA was convicted of federal charges because he was caught with weed (a small amount compared to Balldo's coke) and guns, but Balldo isn't? He only spent 60 days in prison, but it was federal, not local.
Nick could end up copping federal charges, because it's a violation of federal law for a drug user to possess firearms. Also you have to fill out ATF Form 4473 for a firearms transaction, at least if you purchase from an FFL holder.

On that form, question 21 goes as follows:
Screenshot 2024-05-31 223844.png
So if they're real hardasses, the feds can also go after you for perjury.

In addition, the use or possession of cocaine is federally illegal, as is selling it.

So Kyle was prosecuted under the federal statutes for possession of firearms while possessing or using federally illegal drugs, possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number, maintaining a drug premises, and possession with intent. He pled only to possession with intent, which is federally illegal. All four counts were of federal crimes.

There's nothing prohibiting the feds from also going after Nick. Why doesn't this violate double jeopardy? Well, I think it does, but under something called the separate sovereign doctrine, which also applies to states. For instance if you stood on the border between two states and shot someone on the other side, you'd have broken the law in both states and both states could go after, as well as the feds if you broke a federal law too.

I will never not be horrified that there are local/state governments who help crack addicts get high "safer", and that "harm reduction workers" give out fucking pamphlets on how to get high while also giving them the pipes and needles to do it!

Actual lunacy

No, let's not mandate that these people get clean with our policies, let's help them kill themselves with their preferred drug!

Aaron was very heavily and very gayly suggesting in his live shows shortly after the arrest (sorry, don't have links/timestamps) that if April wasn't staying at the Rekieta household, she was "somewhere very close to there" (or something to that effect). He mentioned it a couple of times. Bet you he was talking about that second house.
