I think you're right.Nick has been a ghost channel for a while. He got a load of subs during Rittenhouse and Depp but when Nick turned into a fucking lush they stopped watching. Most of them were normies, theyre not online all the time, I doubt they bother to unsub, if you stop watching something long enough the algorithm stops showing you it anyway.

I have actually been mulling this over for a while now. Shouldn't his sub loss rate be way higher?
In the past, when you had scandals that exposed a Youtuber as a massive piece of shit, that was usually followed up with a mass exodus of subs.
Nick's YouTube subs have been steadily dropping, but they're not in absolute freefall like you've seen in other occasions
OTOH, he gets view numbers far less than one would expect from a channel with 447k subs.
I think the reason you're not seeing a high rate of sub loss with Nick is that most of his sub base is not actively following him anymore. They moved on a long time ago and didn't bother to unsubscribe.
The phenomenon of hemorrhaging subs occurs for those who are popular right up to the point they go completely off the rails. Whereas, Nick's content was boring barely watchable crap long before his arrest.
Hell, a lot of that 447k is probably oblivious to what happened last week.
