It's a little disappointing that Flurrie is the only one to get a video introduction (even if it fits her character). We couldn't get one of Goombella getting cornered by the X-Nauts? Koops working up the nerve to ask Mario to let him come to Hooktail's Castle? The famous catmouse-burgler robbing Hooktail's Castle?

How are they still going with this? For starters, the original text doesn't imply transgender, and the remake's Japanese text was changed so it invalidates claims of faithfulness even harder.

Well....I spent the day doing some homework and actually found out how to mod the dialogue text for the switch game. Haven't gotten the hang of spacing just yet, but if you think I was just joking, behold:

I'm THIS close to going all in and re-writing the game dialogue and getting something done while it's still Rainbow month, but I should at least play through the whole thing first.

She is in the game, but only as a cameo in the post-game. She's with Bootler in Poshley heights. The Gamecube version had unused graphics for all the N64 partners, suggesting that there might have been more cameos planned.
So your idea can still work, go back and unedit it, @The Fatriarchy is trying to confuse you with his nigga goomba logic

Thank you for clarifying that, though that just brings the point home that I should do a proper playthrough of TTYD before thinking that much more on it. Haven't done that since 2005.

I totally forgot about that. Did they really not add in the other cameos for the remake? I'm sure someone would've mentioned it by now, what a load of crap.

There is a group of Christians who reject every English translation that is not he Authorised King James Version. They make the 'anti trans Vivian' crowd look apathetic. After all, newer translations tended to be money-grubbers that outright rewrite or emove Bible verses while drawing from corrupted sources.

I swear he does if you ask him to sail you back to the island.

He definitely speaks way, way more Spanish in this version, though, including entire phrases. Of all the major writing changes, it's one of the few I really like.

it's kind of disgusting to me how none of these people actually give a shit about any of these characters until the "trans" announcement thing. This has been happening for like 5 or 6 years now, maybe a little over that amount of time with media.
