I agree, but most likely the reason for them not going scorched earth on Offkai is that if they do, it probably hinders their ability to get invited to other large cons, as they will be seen as shit stirrers/drama starters regardless of whether they are in the right.
Even if true (and people with all sorts of bad rep get invited into cons if the following is big enough. See roughly, Mignogna's attending of cons, even after he got accused of being a pedophile and a rapist, and after he lost a defamation suit. Not all cons want him, sure, but many still do), showing yourself to be weak and easily abusable isn't a real option either.

I don't mean to shit on Sakana, I really don't. Like I said, I think this shit is the last thing he wanted to do when he formed Phase. I think he does care about his talents. But I'm not going to slobber on his dick either.
Lastly, I think we're having the same issue we did in February of last year during the Pikame and Hogwarts debacle. A lot of us want TTD but Pippa and Phase want no part in any kind of political fight. Even though you can hear the frustration in Pippa's voice when talking about the issues at Offkai she does not say TTD or anything close to it because she is professional now and cannot waste her time flinging shit at some gender blob volunteers from California (and you know they would hide behind them being poor, widdle volunteers) and other retards would use her to go after other retards in their retard fight. We know that Pippa has no problem going after people that try to actually harm Phase, see Coomalot and Nick, so I imagine she's holding back because of the previous reasons. I think that's why she told people that if they didn't like how things were happening then they needed to step up and volunteer and I agree with that. It feels kinda Podcast Race to sit and complain in some woman's chat who is powerless to change anything especially considering that the thing has already happened.
I'll partially agree, and partially disagree. I can respect Pippa not wanting to get involved in the drama and wanting just to get some fun. But in that sense she just should have said nothing at all instead of carrying water for Offkai.
"If you don't like that we're being fucked over then infiltrate the abusers" is a cope, and everyone knows it, especially when as you point out, Offkai is not the only con.
Don't take these comments as me shitting on you, I'm really not. Perhaps you are right and it all doesn't matter in the long run. Maybe it does. Either way looks like bad choices made by generally good people, and that sucks to see.
If they were actively harming his business while at the convention I don't know why he would honor a non disparagement or NDA. Offkai breaking their side of the deal I would think would release Phase from any obligation of honoring their end.

The most I could see is maybe community watch thread about hardcore/stupid vtuber fans. I think there'd be genuine interest from vtuber fans and haters, and the material shouldn't be scarce.
