Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

I read a comment that speculated the masked villain is the bald green Jedi who is played by the showrunner's wife. Unless you're a mindless shill and consoomer, it doesn't really matter at this point.

Trying to make a mystery out of who the masked character is when we have no idea who these people are to begin with is hilarious. They don't know how to actually tell a story, so they're starting with a mystery box to get you hooked.

‘The Acolyte’ Creator Leslye Headland Wants To Do A Live-Action ‘Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic’ Project Centered On Kreia: “Start Writing Emails, Start Crowdfunding!”
LOL NOPE.

Only brain-dead farts would allow hacks with an agenda to touch KOTOR. Next thing, they'll turn Kreia into a tranny feminist who speaks on how she hates the Jedi Masters for holding her back due to sexism and that the Force is just a bunch of girlboss magic tricks instead of being akin to a living, driving entity that Kreia wants to eliminate in order to screw predetermined destinies that are supposedly set by it. Lucasfilm loves turning their own characters too into boring, fantasy avatars of their writers.

Another proof that these hacks are just borrowing concepts from the past and make it seem like they're the ones who're revolutionzing Star Wars.

At least when Filoni did it (at first), people believed that he was preserving the EU. Now it's become really blatant that they're just cannabilizing good stories and making them terrible.

There was one thing that confused me and I went back and checked. At the end Squid games is talking via radio to the bald lesbian lizard lady. She says,

"Your old Padawan going rogue was one thing. But now a trained outsider is responsible."

Was that suggesting the bad twin was also his Padawan? Or that it's all linked. It made no sense to me.

As for if the Twins are the same person. That'd be full on retarded. I assume it'd have to be adopting and double downing on force teleporation shit from those awful sequels.

What could she possibly mean by crowdfunding? Does she think she's working for Hasbro?
Crowdfunding as a gadget of public interest isn't unheard of. Honestly, it's a good idea, given that it invites people to put their money where their mouth is.

(The show would be crazy, but Chris Avellone's Twitter thread about it would be legendary.)

Like Hollywood in general, these people are just creatively bankrupt at this point. Just two days ago, I was in a mall and the movie posters are just rehashes/sequels that I have no interest in watching. We now have a sequel to Twister after more than 25 years and another Bad Boys movie. Yawn.

Filoni is a fan of his own universe, nothing else. That's why he wants to make Ahsoka the center of the new story. The new Heir to the Empire is the obvious Filoniverse movie, with Ahsoka becoming the key to everything. To the point where the spirit of the Chosen One would rather talk to her than to his own flesh and blood.

It's not just creative bankruptcy, it's also investors only wanting safe bets. If you come up with a movie that's genuinely fresh, new, and experimental, you'll get less investment money due to the risk factor. But a sequel to something that already existed, they'll support that because it's already a proven formula.

I don't think they'll be doing that. More likely the evil twin will die a horrible death, but the good twin will get so disillusioned with the Jedi that she takes up her sister's mantle, if she does go evil at all.

Reactions: The Nothingness
New writers of post-JJ Star Wars are like new writers of post-JJ Star Trek: seems they don't care about continuity.

That's continuity overall (not even getting to nit-picky continuity).
That man is a trendsetter in the worst possible way. In that he sets the trend for not giving a shit about lore and continuity. And that just makes lore less valuable. Which is kind of funny that Disney and their defenders are stumped as to why their new SW lore isn't getting as much love as the old one, when retconning lore has set a nasty precedent.

There's a reason people don't give a shit about continuity in capeshit comics; the many retcons and resets are the cause of the audience's apathy.

My guess is that the Jedi are evil and deserve the revenge. They caused the fire. There'll be some false memory, mind wiping shit that has gone on.

Worst case scenario is that it somehow ties into Anakin being created by the force.

The way to fix that is to ignore the new lore.

And to really fix it, retcon out the new lore and make new stuff that fits with the old stuff (this could happen if the political climate changes).
That won't work. The old fans have already left the building and no longer care, meanwhile, the new lore does have its fans, and retconning it would just earn their hatred.

It's like what happened with Rise of Skywalker. The Luke Skywalker fans have already left the building and aren't coming back, but the TLJ fans hated how RoS undid their ''subversive'' movie.
