To give the devil his due I can understand from a legal perspective of deflecting the kid question because he'd most definitely incriminate himself more than he already has. This is a double edged sword though, because it looks so bad to everyone watching. He really shouldn't stream until this is over. But Balldo knows best, I'm just an incel prude.
Nick's enough of a weaselly lawyer to say non-incriminating things about his kids though. Something as simple as "I just want this to be over as quick as possible for them" or "it sucks that they've had to go through this" would be effortless. But he doesn't think about his kids that way.

The religious people in the thread are going to have a field day with this stream. He's still going, now he's talking about how all pastors are hypocrites.
Pastors are all hypocrites, yet his entire video catalog from the past four years that contradict everything from the single past year, don't make him one.

He is a special kind of stupid that just makes one frustrated, because everyone can see it except him. His current unironic fans don't count because I'm convinced they are completely unaware of his old stuff before the last year.

Also funny that he decides to call out pastors as hypocrites when it was a pastor that did the right thing and reported him.

Oh no he's a victim of Midwestern small town churches, he should be lucky it's not a ELCA Lutheran Church in Minnesota that man would be thrown into a verbal woodchipper of mockery and passive aggressiveness.
Plus there are a few pastors I've met here in Minnesota that practice what they preach and will admit to fuck ups because they're human and admitting that is 200% better than Nick being a fucking retard.

Nigger reads all that and ends with, "What? We're actually supposed to believe this story?" :story:
What kind of Bible study is this?

EDIT:
I KNEW IT. I knew he was going for this angle. "David did all this bad stuff and he was still a man after Gods own heart. Right guys? Suddenly I'm not looking so bad eh?"

As usual, Nick has it almost completely wrong. David was given great gifts by god. But then proved to be a total disappointment misusing what he had been given to do bad and disgrace himself. God then told him that while he would not kill him for his sins, he would raise up all sorts of evil within his own house against him and that one of his sons would die.

Like Nick, David was given much and squandered what he was given. He was a man after God's own heart, but God saw him as a failure and punished him accordingly. Unlike Nick though, David was able to confess that he had done evil.

Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, ‘I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you out of the hand of Saul. 8And I gave you your master’s house and your master’s wives into your arms and gave you the house of Israel and of Judah. And if this were too little, I would add to you as much more. 9Why have you despised the word of the LORD, to do what is evil in his sight? You have struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and have taken his wife to be your wife and have killed him with the sword of the Ammonites. 10Now therefore the sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised me and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.’ 11Thus says the LORD, ‘Behold, I will raise up evil against you out of your own house. And I will take your wives before your eyes and give them to your neighbor, and he shall lie with your wives in the sight of this sun. 12For you did it secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel and before the sun.’” 13David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the LORD.” And Nathan said to David, “The LORD also has put away your sin; you shall not die. 14Nevertheless, because by this deed you have utterly scorned the LORD,b the child who is born to you shall die.”

The important words for Nick are "Behold, I will raise up evil against you out of your own house."

TL/DW: Geno is a friend of both April and Aaron (engaged to Keanu, the lady who will be dropping messages she got from Nick later this week on STMS) who is both upset and concerned about April's situation. Apparently, "someone" has told April that Geno isn't her friend. Geno tells April to get away from the Rekieta's ASAP.
And later :

Some notable takeaways from April:

April seems to think she isn't an addict because she didn't buy the drugs.

April seems to have disassociated herself from the person in the mugshot in a way that helps her somehow cope with what she's done.

April's takes no responsibility, blames Aaron and the Internet, and plays the "friendless victim" card.
All I'm hearing is, you're saying there's still a good chance I can save her.

Acknowledging the situation means acknowledging he isn't Father Internet as he had portrayed himself to be. He will cling to that with every fiber of his being. Obviously if he hadn't parented correctly, those Scandanavian Prudes wouldn't have had to intervene. Maybe these Bible screeds are designed to agitate them.

Nick claims he has been and will be abstaining from substance use of any kind (booze, THC, everything), and that quitting took no effort at all.

Good for him! I personally believe him.

It took no effort to quit, and quit he did. Until the next time he CHOOSES to take some coke/drink something, which is likely next day or the day after.

Nick got this under control!

This is textbook addict thinking, and I love how, despite all his money and streaming success, Nick sounds like any boozer or junkie who mindfucks himself into thinking that he’s the outlier who got it all together and just chooses to party every day.

Go on Nick, choose to smoke crack! Wouldn’t that be funny?

Nick constantly talks about how he doesn't actually have a problem with substance abuse and that there was a conspiracy by the police and church to ruin him. He rarely, if at all, shows concern from his kids or any desire to get them back

It shows where his priorities lie

How delusional. April has the option to go offline and disappear forever without criminal charges. Nick's legacy will be a cautionary one and a case study on Narcissistic Personality Disorder when it's connected to internet fame. His public service is making sure whiny dipshits like him are easier to spot out in the wild before people are taken for a ride
Luckily substance abuse has dulled his intellect so much he is only capable of manipulating those with an IQ of 80 or lower.

Nick has lost his kids and is facing major criminal charges. But his biggest life priority is trying to gaslight people on the internet. I really hope is on heavy drugs and not sober. Because if he is really saying these things clean, he is just completely insane.

He is also inevitably going to trip up talking like this. Its legally stupid and near suicidal.

The texts on Gino's show from April kind of show that everyone in the house is in the same crazy state of denial. 26g in the house and they were cutting lines with her credit cards. But she is no addict and that mugshot just completely misrepresented her. Its all Aaron's fault or the internet's fault. Her "reputation" is ruined but Nick and Kayla are good people she needs to stay with.

Nick may have real problems hiring a criminal defense attorney. Because I suspect a fair number of people are going to talk to Nick about how he wants to defend himself and run away from having anything to do with it. Barnes may actually be his best choice because will at least give Nick the defense he wants in court. He may also find someone so greedy or desperate that they do exactly what Nick wants.....and Nick goes to prison.
I'm starting to think that he genuinely does not understand second-order consequences.

He wants to die and he will kill himself one way or another. I heard it in his voice when he said "wrap this car around some trees" in that cruisin' live stream. True death-seeker energy.
Good! Hurry up and get it over with.

He has no real friends and nobody likes him.
