Did Digibro and Bird ever make it to Dallas to "save" Mint? I found what seemed to be about 25 hours of boring livestream footage from inside the car on their "journey". But it just abruptly ends in the dark in the middle of nowhere and I never saw any follow up from them.

well it's a massive number of people putting his full name and "sex trafficking" together lol. He wasn't ready for how big of a shit storm Riley getting arrested would cause and he's sperging hard.

hit me with those rainbows, but I don't think Mint was trafficked, or really even abused. I don't know where the idea came from that she ran away because her parents wouldn't let her draw furry porn. It's very funny, but not really accurate. Iirc, she was engaged to a dude in his 30s, had already been drawing thumbnails for TDS for a while, and was showing her tits off to everyone in the patreon discord who would look when she met Riley. Apparently her relationship was not going well, because she cheated on the guy with some random dude from Tinder, and then ran away from home to meet up with Riley. As a bit for the Dick Show, Riley had TDS goon "Jon Breaks Bad News" call the fiance to tell him that she had cheated and was leaving him. Around this time, the parents started sending Mint some desperate texts asking her to please come home. She and Riley posted these texts as well as Riley's smarmy responses on twitter, and Dick asked Mint to come on to talk about it. He tried calling the parents and was hung up on, then melted down at Had on episode 188.

I don't think Mint is actually retarded, and imo it's a stretch to call it trafficking, but it definitely seems like Dick and Riley did everything in their power to isolate her from her family. What's creepier is how they basically used her to flex on the parents and fiance. Dick and the people in that community always had a weird obsession with cucking and cuckoldry, so maybe that's part of it.

As for the abuse, I think it's a "bit". Dick and Riley have always loved trying to pwn the "concern trolls" who actually just want to date mint themselves. I've seen a couple eps of their podcast show, and Riley screaming at her like a lunatic while she barely reacts is like 70% of it. He might be a retard, but he's definitely playing up how deranged he is. I've seen a few instances of Mint actually getting overwhelmed and melting down, but it's almost never because of Riley.

The clip of the physical abuse is also not great. Riley slaps her, but it's obviously not hard. She's smiling and laughing right after.

I was a long time watcher of his show, I've seen about 350 episodes before I just lost interest. Dick has always been open about how little words mean to him. He's stated that he will say whatever he thinks he has to say to get what he wants, because to him "freedom of speech" is meaningless and just a byproduct of the most powerful form of speech there is: The free exchange of wealth. Something that, for as long as I watched him, he fought very hard to maintain with projects like New Project 2 and BackedBy. His primary goal is to keep his show going and thus keep his Patreon money flowing, and to that end he will say outlandish things, give suicidal advice to his viewers who come asking for it, and roll out the red carpet for all manner of Internet autists in an attempt to get them on his show and keep them in his circle. This can range from things like calling Keffals and Chris-Chan by their preferred names/pronouns on Twitter (after they dropped Kiwi Farms and dropped a load in their mother respectively), to entertaining trips to Mexico to see Ethan Ralph, to crowdfunding new pants and other essentials for Murrlogic the Wonderbread guy because he's a socially-inept autistic man in assisted living who's teetering on the edge of low-functioning. He seeks out interesting people and does whatever he can to keep them around and keep them interesting because that's what fuels his livelihood.
