Possible because they never clean the house, residue got on her head.
That's not how a hair follicle test works. The metabolites that were found are, for starts, metabolites. They aren't looking for cocaine in her hair, they are looking for the chemicals your body breaks cocaine down into. The drug has been metabolized by the body and the metabolites enter the follicle via blood vessels attached to the hair follicle.

Does this mean she ingested thr cocaine or it was just on her hair?
Cocaine itself is one of the metabolites that is looked for, but there are others, like benzoylecgonine, which is also abundant in hair follicles.

The amount and ratio of these two indicates active cocaine use, if they did not detect any benzoylecgonine, they know that the kid did not touch coke, and it was just in the sample, if they found it in a good ratio, they know it was actual use.

See the attached paper for more info (or look it up yourself, it's open access: doi/10.1002/dta.1903 )

I'm not reading the thread but I'll assume there are plenty of libertarians defending this with their whole chest.
I just read all 49 pages and at this time I didn't see one post defending it, early on people were unsure if it was real and doubted it, but it's now been confirmed. Unless you count off-site screenshots archived in the post.

What's funny to me is, when people were speculating about his "private family medical scare that sometimes happens when you're a dad" being about one of his kids accidentally getting into his coke they were all negrated and called retards. Seems that's a real possibility now.

Nick has been a downward spiral going from Internet Famous to careercow and now finally fullblown horrorcow. The next low is sexual abuse and I really fucking hope it won't be reached.
Just three weeks ago, we hoped that the kids were completely uninvolved with the drugs besides the neglect. We are like boiling frogs

As dreadful as American jails sound, I think most parents would prefer a short stay in one to losing access to their children.

He is absolutely going to lose his children unless he does a huge course correct. CPS is slow to act, but once children are removed, it can be hard to get them back. Hard for people who are vaguely normal, let alone unrepentant addicts who dosed their kids and won't cooperate. And the only way to do it is to be really, really cooperative with CPS, even though it's frequently staffed by the most petty bureaucrats this side of Kafka. That might actually be beyond Nick.

Tonight Nick went after CPS on stream making serious accusations against them and then calling out one person in CPS by name. The stream tonight was so unhinged and so overtly unrepentant that it could perhaps justify any action CPS or the courts suggest. I think he legally lost any hope of a good outcome for him and his wife in the CPS proceedings by doing that tonight.

Nick also made it really clear that in all the legal proceedings he intends to seek no deal or accommodation with the government. He wants to fight everything to the bitter end.

He really gives off the impression that he doesn't care one bit about either his wife or his kids. Its all about him and his ego.

I liked Nick circa 2019 and for several years after

I was monumentally disappointed when he started his implosion with balldoes, Hedonism, drugs, and swinging.

Now I'm a horrified and disgusted.

I remember one clip way back when where a superchat was asked to the effect of "Do you admire [this person]?" I think it might have been Jesse Lee Peterson. Nick's reply was something like "why would I admire a man who doesn't have any children?"

Motherfucker, you're not going to have kids anymore. And they'll be better off for it.

Im not familiar with CPS, but can nick and Kayla immediately have the grandparents or some relative adopt all the kids legally. if they intend to make sure the kids stay together, this could be a smart course of action,

It just means she was dosed up little and often. For what possible reason you may ask? The truth in this may yet be the most disturbing thing to come out of this already awful case.
Just a thought, Aaron spent a lot of unsupervised time with the kids cooking spaghetti O's for them while Nick and their wives were screwing. I wouldn't rule him out as a suspect, especially since he was indignant about Nick doing drugs at his house around his kids but don't mind doing them at Nick's house and around his kids.

He left six weeks before the arrest and the drug tests, I'll rule him out.
