"Look, guys, why would I give cocaine to my own daughter?"
>greedily licks bottle
"That's just not economical"
>greedily huffs child's head

The metabolites are determined by nanogram per milligram of human hair sample. They do specific lengths instead of whole hair strands because the more hair, the smaller the ng/mg sample is, and there are cutoffs. If you take too much, you will get a false negative. There's nothing you can do to get a false positive. Only by ingesting cocaine does your hair get the metabolites.
If she was ingesting cocaine frequently why just slap Kayla with Child abuse but not Nick as well? Could it be that Kayla was giving the child cocaine on purpose?

Lol. You locked it for a few minutes to create this one so the leak could actually be discussed separately, and not add a zillion more pages to the main thread. Did he not grasp that? Did he really think you were finally putting on the Balldo?
Don't forget also that by addressing the test that was done on his daughter he admitted by extension to the documents being real besides the other 2 times on stream. :story:

He claims the test is faulty, is testing a metabolite which exists outside of the body, and also that the levels of cocaine they are suggesting she had in her would indicate that she should be dead.
If they only found norcocaine or cocaethylene and not the normally tested-for metabolites this sounds like it could actually be correct.

Often you cut up blow on a plate (preheated plate if you're experienced). You might use a knife or spoon to crush/cut the rocks up, dollar bills to snort etc. Given how dirty the house is said to be and how the kids were not being cooked for or fed, seems plausible to me that the kids were using dirty dishes/cutlery probably over and over again, leading to this potential result.

He messages me out of the blue to say two things:
1. To thank me for locking his thread.
2. To deny that his child tested positive for cocaine.

Pretty sure the people that run these tests and review the results would note if it was bizarrely out range outside of a death investigation. I’d think CPS side would also be familiar with these types of test results and flag anything that was outside of the realms of possibility or a huge statistical outlier.

People rarely OD or die from cocaine or meth. Most of the deaths from cocaine are heart attacks. Deaths from cocaine use, outside of heart failure, is very rare. It’s why you have all these crazy stories about the vast amounts celebrities abused in the 1980’s.

Cocaine isn’t good for kids, but it’s also unlikely to kill them unless they have some heart defect or other vascular issue.

The most likely reason a kid could die from sampling dads coke stash is because it was laced with fentanyl or other shit. Opiates and benzos are what kill kids in drug addict homes, not meth or cocaine.

Possibly there were things she confessed to in interrogation that enabled them to charge her with additional offenses, but there wasn't enough evidence to charge Nick as well, at least without his own confession.

Or the actions that resulted in the charges occurred at a time when Nick had a plausible alibi to be elsewhere. Such as live streaming.

Is there any way of distinguishing whether the sample came from the kid ingesting it, or can it be a contaminant from contact with another person?

I'm not sure how often Nick licks his kid's head, but there are four adults, all of whom have used cocaine, and doesn't one of them have a sexual abuse charge of some kind?

I'm not sure if I'm understanding the test - Nick says it can be from outside the body, but wouldn't that imply that some kind of substance from one of those adults ended up in the kid's hair...?

So one interesting thing in this document is that Kayla's parents aren't listed (mom & stepdad). I know the foster parents are not named, but Bob Rekieta is named as a witness. Which seems odd, since they typically live much closer. I wonder if the Woltjers are still the foster parents? They could be in the system, if they got everything ok'd by CHIPS or whoever.

I just hope so maybe, the foster system is fucked, but so are Kayla and Nick.

Josh, you're likely to be subpoena'd to testify as a witness at this rate.

I hope you enjoy cross examination regarding the "Shower talks"

Nick really doesn't know how to shut the fuck up.

Either that or so much coke got into the hair that when they tested wrong, according to Nick, is gave a stupid high result.
