It's at least interesting seeing what these people's "limits" are. You'd think a lawyer would take the time to look at all of what's readily available, if for no other reason, to know exactly how to defend your client. So what exactly is the difference between the previous documents/incident reports/etc, and this one? They all say that there is child abuse. Previously, like you said, says there's drunk driving with children in the car. That's not horrible enough.

"I wasn't even there" is his cope moving forward. The child rearing wasn't his responsibility. It was Kayla's and the nanny's. Despite the kids being homeschooled and him working from home, he was a stranger to his own family. Not by choice of course, he'll have a noble reason for it. Nick has absolved himself of any wrongdoing. Kayla is to blame! Kayla has her own blame in this as does Nick. They're both refusing to correct course by seeking treatment and cooperating with CPS.
