If Stolas was the narator, it would have made sense for the story to turn on his head when he comes to the realization that he is the abusive asshole. I saw a lot of comments on SC video bringing this up but i dont think it's the "Gotcha" they think it is.

Calling their drama "miscommunication" is both retarded and insidious because it pretends Stolas isnt the sole responsible and wasnt abusive, while bringing up MUH TRAUMA, unironically even (hack writer detected), it victimizes him further.

The worst thing she can say about Stolas is that he "isnt self aware enough" which implies it's not even his fault while "Blitzo is Blitzo" meaning in order to grow, blitzo has to stop being blitzo.

It's small word choices where vivzie reveals her powerlevel. She REALLY wants you to think this relationship aint problematic and it's just 2 sad gays feeling unloved but she's too biased and/or bad writer to actually treat her own characters equally within her own narrative.

This shit is worse than She-ra because, even at it's worst, that show never shamed Adora for not loving back her abuser.

Has anyone else noticed that the viewership of HB rapidly dropped off with the two new episodes? I know that the views have been steadily declining over the years because of the slop writing, but the recent episodes really show that people fucking hate the gay Stolitz melodrama. Three weeks, and episode 8 has only 11 million views? And the newest video stopped at 10 million and isn't growing. The Fizzarolli one has 25 million! General audiences are sick of this shit, it's quite obvious. The only people left watching are crazy Stolitz shippers (who somehow want to make it work) and melodrama-hungry teens. Let me tell you, the series won't survive on these two alone for long.

It's becoming the slow but sure proof the show's only existing and doing well to this day because of Vivziepop's constant pandering to the shipping crowd. Like you said, she can't rely on it for too long. The complaints are getting bigger and even the most dedicated shippers are starting to get tired of Stolas' barely getting any real consequences and Blitzo taking all the blame for everything.

People wanna see more than just two gay dudes crying and whining it out, but Viv refuses. And while reaching 10+ million views is nothing to scoff at and I doubt she'll really lose any actual viewership leverage, I'm glad it's at least showing the slow disinterest in fans and how they're beginning to get annoyed that HB's this lousy melodrama show that's going practically nowhere at this point. It's not even a show anymore. It's just fanfiction at it worst tropes.

I'm ashamed that i used to tune up to this thinking i'd get something good out of this. I'm just gonna keep looking over her both projects to see how bad it will get. Okay, so I watched the episode. It took me longer to actually get to it because I watch these episodes with my friends instead of on my own. Now that I’ve seen the whole thing, I can safely say the episode is a fucking disaster.

Right away, I’m annoyed by how this episode begins. Stolas now acts like he has the moral high ground and Blitz is a horny fag. No one in their right mind wants to see gays arguing, but what Viv says goes. Then again, no one in their right mind would even be watching HB in the first place.

I’ll admit, I actually liked the cameo appearance of Brandon Rogers’ grandpa character. And I did enjoy that scene involving Stolas at the human sacrifice ritual. I guess even a blind squirrel finds an acorn every once in a while.

Everything else sucked. I physically cringed when Stolas and Blitz were having their conversation near the end of the episode. Was Viv really expecting people to get all sentimental from that?

One more thing: I finally realized why I got so upset seeing Mayberry and Martha. It wasn’t simping or shipping. No, it was because (at least for me) it was a grim reminder of what this show should’ve been but what it ultimately ended up being instead. It went from “demons being hired to kill” (Mayberry putting a hit on Martha) to “total faggotry” (Stolas x Blitzø, Martha x Mayberry, etc.). That’s why I got so mad at it.

We’ll never get a proper HB, and that’s the sad truth.

It's so funny how passive aggressive these descriptions can be. Like when Viv wrote in the description of that one Stolas music video "Warning: No swearing". She hears the critiques, but instead of actually using them to make her work better, she just makes fun of it.

Also, slightly off-topic but Martha is voiced by a drag queen. They're name is Jinkx Monsoon.

I have to believe that we are not the minority. Stolitz is terrible on almost every concieveable level. They're both awful, unfunny people who keep dragging others into their insane dynamic and problems. This shit's taken over the show to a degree I've not seen since Starlight Glimmer tanked MLP. It's not even good smut material anymore (if you're into that sort of thing) because Viv is being really upfront about the fact that Blitz and Stolas have really gross and unpleasant sex.

Maybe it's a situation where no one wants to just come out and say they don't give a shit about the gay drama because they don't want to look homophobic. But the views reflect the reality.
