Exotic pets like reptiles and amphibians. Go to any pet store and I can almost guarantee you are likely to see at least one pooner browsing the reptile and amphibian section in addition to pooner employees who specialize in that area.

Reptiles, rats, and amphibians are cool and all, but if you are female, you really cannot talk to your fellow enthusiasts online and in real-life as pooners have pushed out all of the normal girls and women as these would have been "tomboys" about two decades ago.

I do not know what makes poonism so contagious to women as I am not one, but they are rapidly multiplying.

It was bad enough that we had to have a trans character (Marina), but the Funger troon fandom cannot stop cooming about him, posting up ships about him (they always ship him with Levi), and just generally redirecting every piece of energy they have to obsessing over Marina the same way Samarie does in-game. It's absolutely cringe, and every time I encounter Marina in-game I either murder him, or, if he's willing to join the party, I get him to carve the All-Mer symbol into his face because it's the ugliest one in the game. (I guess troons self-harming is very true to life, no?)

I mentioned fandoms before but LGBTQ types have specifically ruined the shipping fandom. It was always toxic but at least back then you had people who liked shipping straight couples. Nowadays shipping has dissolved into a "Who can out queer who?" I remember hearing this story 2 years ago where a user got flooded in a Pinterest comment section for posting a non trans straight ship and the comments complained about the ship being too "heteronormative" and the usual "Not every boy/girl relationship has to be romantic!" Which is ironic considering these types literally ship every two same sex characters just for standing next to each other. Literally the only "straight" couple I've seen these types like is if one or both characters involved is trans and if there's a straight couple in canon thats too "cis" they have to make trans headcanons in their art. For a tiny minority they sure are very aggressive and vocal online.

Eh, I will probably be deservedly roasted for saying this but: because being one of them fucking sucks.

Still, one needs several loose screws to think that carving your body up and turning your self pink and zitty is in any way a solution or even a palliative to the core issue.

Is there a name for the specific brand of punctuation-free, stream-of-consciousness soliloquy so many of these fuckers seem to do when demonstrating their super special knowledge of their secret inner selves?

Personally I think that it is just a side effect of diminished empathy and self-absorption. TiFs TiMs and specific varieties of gay men all demonstrate it, they are so consumed with expressing their oh so interesting inner selves that they never once pause to consider thinking through or editing what they are saying for the sake of their captive audience.

Maybe we can coin the term for it here and now?
Best I can come up with is to play with the word tractate and call it transcating or transcaction.

I will also say that is probably a case of "the grass is always greener" as I do not want to derail this thread too much but from what I have seen from all of the pooners at my last job their HRT made them all neurotic and they bullied the few non-pooner female employees constantly, and they made the men's bathroom smell horrible as I think the HRT gave some of them chronic BV.
