I'm betting that Austin and BossmAndrew got into a fight, leading to one of their parents calling the cops on Austin for being a paranoid crackhead starting fights. We do already know Austin has "knocked him out cold", who's to say that RAT wasn't asking for round 2 by asking him to stop smoking crack and screaming all day and night?

I'd bet a month of Austin's depos that it was the brother. The parents have long since been brow beaten into submission and Austin's insanity is normal to them now. No doubt Andrew came in at 4am to ask him to stop screaming, crying, and smashing the walls and they got into it. The parents couldn't separate them and called the cops and when the cops showed up they found crack.

I'm not a lawyer, but this page seems to say an emergency protective order gets issued in addition to the charges. So even if someone could bail bossman out, he can't return to the family home. I'm sure the point is moot anyway since he was on probation with a bunch of years hanging over his head from his old charges.
