I'm sure someone here can express it better, but there's something inherently soy about trying to logically explain how you can survive the genre-bending, thought-provoking, only kind of horror Gen Alpha can stomach. Does anyone want to find out how you too can become a logical survivor?

His Trevor Henderson video was only half an hour long but he not only somehow managed to make it feel wayyy longer than that, but also make the works seem so fucking uninteresting. from the SCP thread too it is interesting seeing people become more disillusioned with SCP in general if not going back through the horror of the internet and seeing peolpe react in real time. My thoughts on this specifically (wasn't even aware of it until now) is that most of those are explained by simple Keter which was the freaking point of Keter classes they are all encompassing to be hard to contain, eldritch, world ending, etc because you know it is nice and condensed instead of all these worthless labels tat mean the same thing but nah this one is impossible to contain opposed to this one which is also impossible to contain but you kind of sort of can. It's meaningless but i digress.

Might be thunk provoking and late but one of the main things i've been following people talking about is AH and how it is sort of running its course as of i'd say last year into this year. For the most part i've gotten to where i see things out but when I see a series follow a world ending scenario and it is just sort of casually there my suspension of disbelief is gone. I find it a little boring when there are these creatures that can do anything and nobody can counter them and the series is just them torturing everyone physically or psychologically because it was fine for the first few series but now i tune it out.

The problem with SCP is that, for the most part, a large section of recent and semi-recent entries are just a tale that's been haphazardly twisted into becoming an entry rather than an anomalous object/event/creature. Take my favorite SCP, 273, you have a ticket-like object, it can be found and picked up by anybody, and basically sends you to Hell/Limbo if you use it as a normal ticket. Simple, concise, and very creepy.

Take another good entry, SCP-5000. SCP-5000 was made for a contest, and thus it is 90% a tale and 10% a regular SCP article. The problem is that nowadays, most articles are made on the image of 5000 rather than on 273's, which makes the site feel more like a place where people write their spooky supernatural fanfics than RP'ing as an organization that's tasked with securing said anomalies.

And that's without getting into the absolute dogshit "entries" like the Tumblr asteroid one, which marked that SCP no longer was only losing its sense of self, but that it was losing any semblance of quality altogether
