The real question is who could the Dems replace him with? Every other Dem politician is either a national unknown with no real identity or, somehow, have a worse reputation than Biden.

The real cancer is letting everyone vote regardless of investment. You have ignorant bugmen, immigrants and gullible weak willed fools outnumbering the people with actual morals, intelligence and (most importantly) investment in the nation.

They predictably voted in the absolute worst grifters imaginable who have effectively molded the system to only allow other horrid grifters to win elections. All I am saying is that Starship Troopers was onto something with requiring some kind of service or really ANY standard beyond showing up in order vote.

But we are too deep in the current mess now to really fix it bar Trump actually does what he promised he would do in 2016 (very unlikely to succeed even if he intends to do it, which he probably doesn't). Other than that, there is only violent revolt and its hard to say if US citizens have it in them to do that.

Then again, Argentina somehow managed to get a fucking Libertarian president who has actually not been doing a terrible job from what I have heard (willing to be wrong, not paying that much attention to Argentina). So who the fuck knows what could happen if things get bad enough in the US.

I'm sorry if this is coming off as doomer spam, but my parents think that there's a high chance of a chaotic DNC where Biden is officially replaced with either Michelle Obama, J.B. Pritzker, Gavin Newsome, or Gretchen Whitmer. My Dad thinks that the likes of them along with others who were apart of the Obama Administration like David Axelrod will blackmail Biden into stepping down by bringing up all of Hunter's crimes to him and Jill. Apparently, according to my Dad, a significant portion of the country's voterbase literally thinks of the Obama family as practically godlike and Pritzker has more than enough money to finance his own campaign. Make of this information as you will.

The fact that I can't wholly or confidently predict what's going to happen in November, even though our current President has been a disaster for our country and it's obvious he has cognitive decline, is just plain fucking sad and really shows how tribal politics has become.

Also, if a Republican incumbent had Biden's low approval numbers, and also showed obvious cognitive decline during that trainwreck of a debate performance (as well as every public appearance since that said-debate), then the election would be done. You know it, I know it, we all know it. A Republican POTUS under these circumstances would never have a chance in hell.

My question is with how much respect and credibility the media has burned over the last decade would they be able to shield Michelle as hard as her husband was when he made colossal fuck ups?
