The letter later gives more information about what exactly that case is:
letter1.png

My first guess is that this could be the petition from Aaron ex-wife 1 (Ashley) against April Imholte, since they also brought in the speeding ticket. But I can't say for sure.

Aaron's case number for his order is 71-CV-24-1. The timing should be almost exactly the same (very start of 2024, based on the trailing 1 and 2) but the counties are different, 73 is Stearns (St. Cloud) and 71 is neighboring Sheburne County.

You are correct and April's is now attached. The only reason that it wasn't on here before was because it appeared mostly redundant as though Ashley or her lawyer simply copy-pasted from one draft petition to another and just swapped out references to one or another respondent in question without much of anything additional to learn from it. That said, now that April's HRO petition is being disclosed by the state as something they'll potentially use against the Rekietas somehow, and also now that Aaron spouted the hilarious tinfoil-hat theory today that absence of April's HRO means I'm surely the Rekietas' deep-cover agent "cherry-picking" only Aaron's HRO to make only him look bad, I figured hers might as well go up too in the interests of completeness. In all honesty I couldn't bear to slog through the Jerry Springer episode that is the voluminous slew of exhibits Ashley included, so I have no idea whether Aaron is right about April calling his kid a retard being in there somewhere, but if one of you wants to pore over it for that little gem then have at it.

One other bit of new information from Aprils case was the mildly amusing comedy of errors in attempts to get April served with papers as you'll see in the attached affidavits, which lined up well with what Aaron has said and what has been speculated here about her travels. In short, it looks like sheriff's deputies tried serving her at Aaron's house on April 23rd only for Aaron answer the door and tell them she was already residing at Nick's home at that time, then deputies tried serving her at Nick's home on April 25th only for the "homeowner" there (either Nick or Kayla) to claim that she didn't live "at [that] address" which echoes Nick's repeated insistence recently that she's not living in his home, which is technically not a lie only because her other house within his compound happens to have a separate mailing address. Then, in the noon-hour of Friday May 24th just a day after the arrests, deputies were clever enough to successfully serve her at what's stated to be Nick's home address (not the spare house's address), meaning she apparently have gone there within mere hours after her release from jail rather than the wiser choice of maybe taking a break for a few days at her parents' place or the like. So I guess that at least sheds some more light on just how unshakeable her loyalty to the Balldo cult must be, as if that wasn't already obvious.

Dont know if this was the procedure in Rackets case but they say after a positive, it passes through a confirmatory stage:
The first step involves an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) test, which is a rapid screening method.

"If the ELISA test produces a positive result for a particular substance, a technician will retest the hair sample using confirmatory chromatographic testing, such as gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), to help rule out false positives."
https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/325013#what-is-it
I assume that if there ever is a retest done, and it turns out negative, the only way we’d know, is if Nick starts crowing about it.

Interesting new matter of public record attached. There's a quite a few notable tidbits in there but one oddity especially stood out: considering that the state in their June 26th "Initial Disclosure" (previously here at post #111,393) had disclosed to the Rekietas something described as "Children - segmented hair tests" already, wouldn't this July 5th "Supplemental Disclosure" to the Rekietas of "hair test - children" seem rather redundant? Or could it be that it's not redundant at all, because new results from the long-awaited retest came back and need to be disclosed? But surely that can't be the case, because then surely Nick would now be busy waving around that proof of a prior false positive to own the haters, would he not? Unless...

Then when they do something wrong they use their status as a parent to try to shield from criticism "How dare you says those things about ________, they have kids that might see this" So while it isn't about the well being of the kids, he still needs them as a prop.
Even a childless cow like Boogie does this with his little dog Sammy, to the point it's called "Sammy shielding" when he brings out his little dog after he fucked up like it somehow makes him look like less of a piece of shit.

I remember if his kids ever showed up on stream before, he would quietly and calmly shoo them off and keep them off camera. In his decline period, he would invoke "muh keeds" but if they ever did something like his daughter did waking up after a nightmare he'd literally scream at them not to interrupt him while he was drinking "working."
Everyone in this story deserves to eat a bullet here. Yes including Kayla and April. No exceptions.
The difference is degree.

Nick needs to be tortured for a while first.

It´s a little odd for them to not have the retest almost a month after the incident on June 26, no? But if the test was done again in this interval - and came back positive so Nick isn´t throwing a victory parade - it would imply the ingestion or exposure was very recent to the date of the arrest.

Edit: very recent in the sense of invalidating the family emergency theory from late January, early February, cant remember exactly.

For most of us, a child testing positive for cocaine use even once would be beyond rock bottom. For Nick, a second positive is just another narcissistic injury.

I dont think that conclusion can be drawn. The hair testing can go back a reasonably long time. It implies that the last exposure was very recent to the date of arrest perhaps. But not the pattern of exposure.

Nick's only priority in his mind is inevitably beating all the charges and getting the trap house up and running again like the paradise it was.

This Superchat is mourning Nick.
It's like this dumbfuck bastard doesn't realize they probably literally invented this format to avoid Nick ever happening again, that is, some faggot hogging all the superchats by having people on his own panel, while contributing absolutely nothing of value and just making degenerate sex jokes, then screaming "I MAAAAAAADE YEEEEEWW" when anyone disagreed with his dumb bullshit.

"By the way this was always him and I said that. I said Rekieta behind the scenes is an absolute fucking sick fuck and they didn't want to believe it they didn't want to hear it"
-Ethan "loyalty" Ralph
He also called Our Wife a whore and Balldo kids "retarded spawn".
Piggytits is the last person to talk about loyalty because he left the country his daddy Ronnie gave him and won't even drive his own dying mum to dialysis.

ALSO, didn't Nick say in his Locals hot tub stream that he'd be covering this trial with Branca?
He'd cover that after the LOCALS 5k gift.

Josh's laugh is really infectious, I've found.
Laugh, and the world laughs with you.
I'm quoting CS Lewis here who mentioned this before me. His point that is we need to acknowledge that someone can have a virtue or ability (courage in the first WW1) but still be a horrible person and that truth matters.
It's literally a crime to acknowledge reality in Clown World. Hitler was just some evil demon who came absolutely out of nowhere and for no reason at all, was suddenly elected to power. It was just his pure evil powers that enabled him to do this. There was nothing wrong with Germany that would make them think this was a good idea.

And then one day, for no reason at all. . .
So I guess that at least sheds some more light on just how unshakeable her loyalty to the Balldo cult must be, as if that wasn't already obvious.
She isn't loyal to shit. All this means is Nick is still her source for cocaine.

It's possible she's even more of a soulless piece of shit than Nick or Aaron or Kayla.

Nick's model for trial streaming - lightning in a bottle, briefly - is officially over.

The simulcast for the Baldwin trial, with each creator maintaining their own chat and Superchats, has officially launched and is working well. (I checked on the live audience numbers for each panelist and they're solid. They generally correlate with the subs each creator has, though Andrea Burkhart is overperforming.)

This Superchat is mourning Nick.

(As a watcher, it's a tad confusing bc I think Hunley or Nate is the Streamyard host and controlling what Superchats get posted from LaidBackLaw. I was watching Andrea, not Joe, but this Superchat was featured. The chat is not as exciting bc the audience is shared among 6 people.)

ALSO, didn't Nick say in his Locals hot tub stream that he'd be covering this trial with Branca? He's nowhere to be found (I checked all 3 platforms).
Edit: Clarity, grammar
Simulcast as in, every channel has their own stream that has the same feed? How does the superchat get read then? They mute to everyone else but their own channel when they read?

Wait a minute, so you are NOT running ops for Rekieta trying to frame his 9yo daughter as the drug lord hiding her stash on Balldo´s safe to frame him in case the 5-0 comes busting the door open?

Okay. Well you can go back to the old streams and find all the sores on his arms from 5 years ago if it's so obvious it's his HEAT ALLERGY like he claims then.

What actually happened is that people started noticing multiple sores on his arms shortly before his arrest, the pastor reported that people had noticed sores on his arms as part of changes in Nick's appearance that were thought to be possibly linked to drug use, and when arrested, it was noted in the statement of probable cause that there were "several injuries to the arms of NICHOLAS REKEITA that appeared consistent with sores that are common with controlled substance users."

I noticed you didn't address any of those facts.
He didn't sit around in his hot tub shirtless in his old shows, so if there were marks on him, they wouldn't be as easily noticed. Besides, I didn't say it was obviously a heat allergy, I said it didn't appear to be a sore caused by drug use, and speculated that it was an bug bite that'd been irritated by him scratching it or an ingrown hair.

The report from the pastor is more significant, because multiple people observed it (who, unlike people here, presumably weren't going out of their way to analyze every detail about him) and considered it worth mentioning. In other words, it was probably both very apparent and noteworthy unlike the red spot on his arm. Either that, or whatever marks they saw on him WERE unrelated to his drug use, but he's such an obvious cokehead that they saw marks and immediately took it as evidence of his drug habit.

I'm not defending Rekieta, I'm saying that an irritated spot on his skin isn't some smoking gun or critical piece of evidence, and that it's silly to act like it is.

As for intelligence, Rackets has fried his brain on booze and drugs. He's not the same guy he was 4 years ago.
True, but he was never that smart to begin with. Certainly not the smart he thinks he is, which is the only reason I will poke at his academic and career record.

Nick did not go to good schools, but more importantly, he did not excel at either of them. And unlike most bright people at lower-ranked schools, he 1) came from a privileged, above-average-money home and 2) had other, better, options just as proximate. And also unlike most bright people at lower-ranked schools, he has shown himself in actual real-life practice of his profession to be completely inept.

The man came from a comfortable home, lived (lol, after his years in the 'hood) in a fine-but-featureless but better-than-US-average burb-ish place. Close enough to the Cities to know there are better places to go than the college he went to. Which was here:

#104 in 2010 among "top Midwest regional universities." Bottom of the MN list that year (U of Minnesota -Twin Cities is a national university, 64 that year, now 53, so not in the regional list). Complete regional university MN list that year:

Best Regional Universities - Midwest

9. Hamline University
17. Bethel University
17. St. Catherine University
22. Augsburg College
24. College of St. Scholastica
34. University of Minnesota - Duluth
49. Winona State University
65. Minnesota State University - Mankato
81. St. Cloud State University
84. Minnesota State University - Moorhead
92. Bemidji State University
95. Concordia University

104. Southwest Minnesota State University

Second-tier schools ranked 108-142, listed alphabetically:
Metropolitan State University (did not participate)

And how did he do at a college surely beneath him, the super-smart guy? Good enough to, several years later and time enough to boost his law school admission cred with solid entry-level jobs at large organizations, get into a bottom 35% law school (at the time; it is now in bottom 20%).

2015 (Nick's graduation year) ABL headline: "Two Lower-Tier Law Schools Merge To Become One... Lower-Tier Law School.").

Note that there were 2 other law schools, even slightly closer to Spicer, both of which were ranked higher (by a lot and a moderate amount) than both William Mitchell and Hamline. Aside from the University of MN, which is a well-ranked school, there is also St. Thomas, which though also middling, has smaller classes and higher average entrance GPAs and LSAT scores, and is slightly cheaper, than Mitchell Hamline (or both Wm Mitchell and Hamline in 2012).

But no matter. Surely smart guy went on to distinguish himself in legal practice.

Not to powerlevel, but I've hosted a handful of StreamYard. You can bring in other sources and each one can be a moderator of their own stream, so if you agree to a certain time, yeah- you can all just mute others and keep going. There are also simple ways to use slack/discord/etc to keep realtime aside from the stream.

I mean shit, MundaneMatt can do it.

Nothing I do makes them look better but this should improve readability.

You're going to die on this hill? There's been multiple discussions/speculations here regarding his wounds and spots on his arms throughout the year.

A few pages back I read a very wise and incisive Hispanic medical professional saying something about how Nick is just bluffing because it’s not trial time yet, and at the time I agreed, but I gotta say I’ve flipped my position.

The state is issuing supplementary discovery materials including texts from Nick, reports of supervised visits with Nick, God knows what else. This absolute moron is still providing evidence! Every day he strengthens the case against him. I honestly didn’t think he was this stupid. Craven, narcissistic, addicted, yes; a midwit, yes; but this is stone cold retarded. If he doesn’t take the state’s deal the prosecutor would be advised to simply delay as long as possible. Within six months Nick will be texting the social worker to complain about inflated cocaine prices.
