A 17 year old girl fell off the swing ride at Wonderland and nearly lost her life right there and it was reported on. Also reported that they closed the ride, checked it, and opened it right back up to public that same day. That shit gets reported.

This is what is the most infuriating thing about Fatrick.
Other lolcows too, but in my opinion, Fatrick is the worst for this.
The fact that he seriously seems to think that he is so incredibly much more intelligent than anyone else, thus he can say what he wants and other people should be accepting it as gospel.
Even if he was slightly more honest about something which can objectively be independently verified, and he must know, like his yearly book sales then I would have a modicum of respect for him.

I believe he did CPR but not the story about the kid dying. What are the odds something so bizarrely specific would happen to the one lifeguard infamous for exaggerating and making up bullshit claims? And remember he threatened to murder his actual unborn daughter, so killing a fictional little girl is water off a duck's back to Fatrick.
If it really did happen though then there would definitely be news articles out there about it, somewhere. I would hope kids dying at water parks isn't a common occurrence, especially where a rare medical condition is involved, so it should be very easy to find if it actually happened.

A 6 year old drowned at Ave Maria Water Park last month. 11 year old out in Windsor last year. 6 year old in Kansas last year. 5 year old in Illinois. 2 year old girl in Pittsburgh in 2011. What I'm trying say is, there would be a news article. There would also be a lawsuit and he be named in it. No parent just let's their child die at park and does nothing about it.

Not trying to say he's telling the truth, since I think he's as always totally full of shit, but I do think there's a chance this particular incident could happen without a news article. Primarily the fact it was from a pre existing heart condition and not a direct result of the waterpark. People, including children, die of natural causes in public areas and businesses pretty often and you don't hear about it. There was likely no lawsuit and the parents/park wouldn't be compelled to contact the press about it.
I worked at a ski resort and something similar happened, also about 20 years ago. It was a teenager (17 I think) and not a small child, but they died from an aneurysm on the slopes and that never made it to the papers afaik. Just googled to make sure and I don't see anything. I live in a semi rural area so it doesn't take much to make the local rag.
But yeah either way... he's lying. A basketball needle and floss? Gotta be either an autistic joke or just bullshittery. There's just no way.
