Mega Rad Gun Thread

I find the G19 grip length is the maximum length I can comfortably conceal. That's only in appendix position, I would print like a mfer if I had to carry 3 or 4 o'clock. Appendix is also just more comfortably doing day to day activities. I can't drive comfortably carrying at 3 o'clock, I can both drive and sit comfortably carrying appendix. Also the seat belt doesn't get in the way with appendix, and I can generally draw the gun faster and from more positions with appendix.

I work a very physical job in and outdoors and around customers.

I carry a full size because I shoot it the best and may not have the option to just leave a situation, especially if I’m with my family.
Glad it works for your use case. I'm restricted in what clothing I wear so anything I carry needs to work with any outfit I cobble together.

I can conceal a full size appendix or 3 o’clock. I’ve done both but I prefer 3 for comfort.

For reference I’m 6’3” 220lbs. I wear a 2x shirt to avoid printing. Obviously certain colors of shirts help conceal better and patterns too.

Ditto. My two carry pistols are a Staccato P and a Dan Wesson Specialist, which is a Government sized 1911. In colder weather I wear a shoulder holster, but in warmer weather I wear OWB holsters. I have a uniform, but I can wear my shirt untucked if I want. I carry everyday wherever I go, including to work. I'm a bigger guy, which I've found makes it easier to conceal larger sidearms. Used to carry a Smith and Wesson Performance Center 627 V-Comp which had a 5" barrel and a swappable muzzle brake/muzzle cap just fine. I'm not a fan of compact handguns.

Not sure if I'm late, but FRTs are legal again per a Texas judge's ruling a couple days ago.

If you go that route, you buy that shit at a gunshow or shop CASH in person, and park in a place where any NVR cannot see your tags. Second choice would a pre-paid card purchased with cash and a mailing drop. I am no attorney but, things legal today may not be tomorrow and anything that goes through the mail they will find a way to add extra charges for interstate violations or some bullshit.

IMHO full auto *ahem* simulated full auto, is a waste of money. Just rent a registered MG and get it out of your system nice and legal, it has no practical purpose outside actual warfare in heavy support weapons imho. The NFA enforcment is a waste of time and money, you are never going to stop people from finding loopholes like the FRT/ "solvent traps" "pistol braces" so why even enforce it? Spend the money/resources on all the Glock switches being used to wage gang warfare in Chicago if you really need something to do. BATFE is the Barney Fife of federal law enforcment.

This is the same logic used to defend the AWB. After all, nobody needs a weapon of war, a 5 round turnbolt is enough for lawful and sporting purposes.

I don't particularly care for a device that slaps your finger like a shitty AK either, but until I can order an uzi in blisterpack to my porch by mail like it's the 70's again, it'll do.

Not only that, but NFA '34 (and all other gun control laws) are a clear violation of the Second Amendment of the Bill of Rights/Constitution.

After dealing with druggies and having a political retard (a white woman) try and pull my firearm (failed) I carry a full size or a semi compact (just the shortened barrel/slide). A subcompact is more concealable but the full size steel firearm works just as well as a bludgeon for when you might not want to shoot them because a jury will hang you due to optics issues.
This shouldn't be a consideration but it is unfortunately in this age.

If you haven't seen it recently the government's been wiping their ass with the Constitution as early as Lincoln, if not by James Madison (to which Jackson killed the bank).
People need to remember that the Constitution does not grant rights. It delineates natural rights the government ought to respect lest their powers be taken back by the people (either by bullet or ballot).
@♂CANAM productions♂ you mean like this? Had it before Steyr decided to offer them.
No this one (see the free floating barrel shround)

Are CZ polymers shit now after colt took em over or still good? I know everyone was like it's so over bros when that happened.

Does anyone run coupled mags in their chest rig, or do you just do the coupled mag on your first 2 and then have singles in the rig?
singles in pouches period. too much chance to catch on shit if you jungle mag or use clamps. this was learned by soldiers in the 1940's when they gave that up for the M2 carbine and it was too much of a pain in the Korean War and Vietnam for anything but your contact mag.

His wife, Gabby Giffords, got shot. He has a particularly strong hate for guns as a result.
harvey milk all over again, basically. "because i'm scared, i need to oppress the masses and use the threat of violence from the state to secure my safety and power. not your safety, which is why i'm not pushing for better national mental health structures or better police/security training, or prosecuting failures of mandatory reporters who never bothered to lodge or follow up on complaints of erratic and threatening behavior. just my safety and the safety of my political power, which extends from the barrel of the gun wielded by the state."

Colt didn't take over CZ, CZ took over Colt because they were practically bankrupt and about to go defunct. Aside from CZ making sure Colt got their quality control up to snuff (they're better than they've been since the 90s, but not quite as good as they were before the 80s) CZ has been pretty hands-off with Colt, letting them run themselves.

And I'm perfectly happy with my AUG. Don't need to get another one or swap out for the new one. There are several other guns out there that I'd rather have, like the B&T TP9 or another vintage Smith and Wesson P&R'd N Frame magnum. Not to mention that my current gun goal is to get more sound suppressors, especially for my H&K Mark 23.

Recall the meme of one dude with three mags on the gun duct taped in Yugoslavia for his AK lmao.

Sorry, in my brain I keep thinking CZ-USA got taken over by colt for some reason.

Does anyone have any experience on a G3/PTR and an FAL? I got offered to buy one of my friends FAL/G3 or an AR-10 roughly the same price (10 is a little cheaper). I gotta finish checking the FAL since I'm pretty sure it's the SLR inch pattern.
