The evidence I have seen strongly suggests that the Algerian boxer Imane Khelif is male (XY chromosomes).

I don't think it's "up in the air" at all.

When the International Boxing Association (IBA) (aka Russians) were in charge of Olympic boxing, Khelif was excluded on the basis of genetic tests for being XY (male)





Now that the woke IOC Boxing Unit is back in charge (instead of the IBA) , suddenly Khelif is allowed to compete despite previously failing genetic eligibility criteria.

The assertion in the happenings thread that Khelif is female is incorrect unless there is evidence to the contrary.

Saw a bit in the WSJ today about the French trying to decarbonize the food service for the athletes, with the result that there's very little meat for them to eat in the village, so they had to go out and spend their own money to get enough protein to be able to compete.

This is the future they want for everyone... only there will be no going out to get it yourself allowed.

It means food production methods that cause less CO2 emissions and thus are more "environmentally friendly". In practice this means fucking over standard agricultural methods used for meat supply in favor of gay vegan shit like "fake meat" that is more "environmentally friendly" and also more unhealthy.

Surprising it took this long for people to get up in arms about the number of trans athletes competing in women's events given that according to the AP there are 193 openly LGBTQ+ athletes competing (an increase from 186 at the 2021 Tokyo games). It would be nice to know how many are the T part of that group but it is probably considered transphobic to ask.
