We have a pretty good example from a few dozen pages back. Where some lefty twitter politics guy made a fake advert for the right with a guy getting fit, having a family, and enjoying life (while also hating jews and minorities). Unironically they think the bad aspects they depict will offset all the otherwise good aspects, when it really doesn't. Similar to how a large portion of the left is willing to put up with crime if it means exotic foods in the cities, the right is willing to put up with racism if it means their children and their future children are prosperous. The priorities are completely different.Classic example is Starship Troppers, a novel about a turbo liberal turned into a ""parodyy"" of fascism that ends up creating one of the best militaristic movies ever
The director is still seething about it
Leftists don't understand righties
They are more from the school where “To Serve Your Country” is a cookbook.Ability and willingness to serve is significantly more important than race or skin color.
Isn't this largely the kind of world they allegedly claim to want?
No, they want a world that is equitable, AKA a world where people of certain demographics are given extra privileges based on previous wrongs against them to make up for it. A Roman Replublic/ Starship Troopers system where public service gives you a say in how government is ran is the last thing they want.I've always been a little confused as to why progressive types wail about Starship Troopers so much. In that world your service transcends any individual personal attribute. A female citizen is superior to and has more privileges than a male non citizen. A black citizen is superior to a white non citizen.

Cameltoe trying to explain what the cloud is.

Basically the film was originally a completely unrelated sci-fi script about hunting space bugs. Then some assistant read the script and said 'that sounds like Starship Troopers' so they hastily bought the film rights to Heinlein's novel and incorporated elements from the book into the existing scriptAlso I am pretty sure Verhoeven never read the book and instead had an assistant read it and give him the spark notes.
Let me ask you think. If you knew the debate would be a trap of angry black women and troons would you still go? It’s smarter not to walk in the enemy nest and let them come to you.
I think you're both misunderstanding what Trump is doing here. He already did a debate on the Biden's terms, and won obviously. He's not worried about debating Kamala or biased moderators (Fox's moderators would also be biased against him anyway). They were always going to be like that and he knew it when doing the "any time any place" bit. The only reason the CNN wasn't is because a corpse walked out on stage opposite him.
Also, your comment is the equivalent of "scared". Scared of a rigged debate is still scared.
This doesn't make sense after the NABJ thing (doesn't egt any more rigged than that) and is shaping up to be another own-goal IMO.
This is some brilliant 5-D chess.Trump just made a joke about Kamala sucking her bosses dick during his rally lmao
Best part was the canonical end of Meathead: he cheats on Gloria offscreen with a younger woman and she leaves him, and he's never seen again. It's funny how it KEEPS happening too, since Archie bunker in all in the family was also meant to be a 1 diminsion target loathsome dipshit and Michael Stivic was the straight shooter wise man liberal mouthpiece dunking on him constantly without ever a lapse in it. The human "And that's a good thing!" at the end of a headline.
But instead after the first few episodes or pilot they had to course correct as turns out the well meaning stuck in their ways guy having to learn lessons angle was way more engaging and relatable than "haha look at this old awful bigot get fucking schooled by our college educated (STEREOTYPE BREAKING!) polack!"
The series of tubes analogy was actually a pretty good one for explaining how DDoS attacks work for laymen, though. This is approaching "series of tubes" level of idiocy regarding the Internet.
Edit: For the young'uns.
Because they don’t actually want that world. The starship troopers system is, at least IMO, a much better system for running a republic than universal suffrage like we have now.I've always been a little confused as to why progressive types wail about Starship Troopers so much. In that world your service transcends any individual personal attribute. A female citizen is superior to and has more privileges than a male non citizen. A black citizen is superior to a white non citizen.

Racism isn't even a bad thing. You should be racist to people who compose far too many detrimental or outright negative behaviors. Fucking Pakis, Indians, and Arabs are not compatible with Western Society in the least. That's never been so clear before now. They don't want to live the way we do. They want to live like they did there but here.We have a pretty good example from a few dozen pages back. When I have to weigh conspiracy theories against the credibility of the United States government, the conspiracy theories win every time.
Nixon was a moderate and the left has such a hard time recognizing that. Just look back to his presidential debate with JFK their platforms were basically 1:1.Nixon was unironically one of our greatest presidents, and Kissinger is the single greatest Sec. of State and one of the most based Jews to ever live (his response to hearing about the USSR persecuting Jews was “who cares, not Americas problem, and intervening would fuck up American interests.”)
But they were republicans, and Nixon really hated commies, so they drove the left insane, and did their damndest to tarnish their reputations. Luckily it seems like, at least on the right, there’s been a critical reexamination of Nixon as of late. And people are waking up to the truth.
Edit:
Gee I wonder why the establishment hates him. It’s a mystery.Edit: found the Kissinger quote:

He also apparently said both “"If it were not for the accident of my birth, I would be antisemitic" and "any people who has been persecuted for two thousand years must be doing something wrong.”
Dude was based beyond belief.
An ok analogy for bandwidth in general. As the amount of bandwidth and the size of the tube dictates how much can flow though both. The series of tubes analogy was actually a pretty good one for explaining how DDoS attacks work for laymen, though.
I always thought that Rorschach was an exploration of the type of person who would become, well, Rorschach.I always thought that Moore writing Rorschach as brave, honorable, and self sacrificing and expecting people to go "wow what a freak I hate him" was a particularly revealing look into the progressive mind and how fucking diseased and warped they are.
huh, that’s very interesting. I wonder if we’ll see any TDS liberals in the future make the same realization about Trump. There’s a quote from Hunter S Thompson where he recognizes how he would absolutely love to have Nixon as President compared to Bush & Cheney. He wrote it around the time he committed suicide. I think part of his depression was due to realizing that the Nixon Derangement Syndrome he was so swept up in & helped propagate ultimately amounted to nothing. His Darth Vader/Moby Dick was a smart and reasonable leader and the 1970s could have been so much worse under a lesser politician.
It gets even better when you remember he was born in Germany, lived through Nazi rule (he and his Jewish friends were regularly beaten by Hitler youth as kids) and came to the US to flee the Final Solution.Gee I wonder why the establishment hates him. It’s a mystery.![]()
I'm seeing elsewhere that they are claimign Trump is chicken for not debating under their terms. I wonder what would happen if Trump called her bluff and demanded a debate around August 15th, just before the DNC convention?Trump might even keep doing hostile QnA events, just to rub in how much of a chicken Kamala is, to put more pressure on her until she agrees to the debate on his terms.
Already happened to America’s worst living jew Noam Chomsky. He went from his moronic hyperbole “TRUMP IS THE BIGGEST WAR CRIMINAL EVER” to well “Shit I’d prefer we don’t have a fucking war in Ukraine.” Called Trump the one sensible statesman of stature.huh, that’s very interesting. I wonder if we’ll see any TDS liberals in the future make the same realization about Trump.

He lived through the holocaust and said “we probably deserved it.” You can’t get more based than that.
