It's not that hard.Damn
I wish I wasn’t retarded and understood how to short stocks, I have a couple grand I could use for that.
StopThe solution is to build more affordable housing and institute programs to get that housing to the people who need it.
It's a multifaceted problem for sure, as you said. Its not the immigrants who at most exacerbate a problem.
Forgive me but the way you phrased this has me wondering, do you think luxury housing "sitting empty" is a problem in and of itself? If so what do you think should be 'done about it'?How can you argue there isn't an issue with supply when all over the west there is an ongoing phenomenon of luxury housing sitting empty while people cant find places to live?
Yeah the market is collapsing and there's no one at the White House but vinyl, yassss, yasssss, black music, yaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssssss:
Fear is what creates incentive to vote against incumbent.I dont know if stock market crash would actually hurt Kamala. Alot of Dems supporters are divorced from the real economy or so brain washed they will want total communism now as answers.

Kick out all the illegals you want, you still wont be able to afford a house on an average joe's income
But... that's correct.Remember, the only reason housing is expensive is because you hate poor people and non-whites.

You can make another app. You can raise more cattle. You can't create more land in desirable locations.Developers don't make money sitting on empty properties either. Even the expensive cuts of meat at the grocery store get marked down when they go unsold for too long and need to be cleared from the shelves. Why do you believe that housing does not follow basic economic principles?

Im not arguing for rent control. Being a nation of renter-serfs who own nothing isn't exactly an improvement. I also don't think outside of the most basic broad strokes that housing as a commodity is comparable to cuts of meat which have a finite shelf life and are meant to be immediately consumed and used up nor do they appreciate in value after purchasing. But lets imagine they did!I can tell you don't understand the issue at all. Do you know why only luxury housing is being built in major cities? It's because it's not subject to rent controls. Developers aren't going to build housing that loses money. Even Krugman knows that rent control is a bad policy that only makes housing shortages worse.

So glad the adults are back in charge. Just like when I was a kid the house was on fire mom was buying music and dad was lying drugged out in a ditch while we scrambled not knowing what to do.Yeah the market is collapsing and there's no one at the White House but vinyl, yassss, yasssss, black music, yaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssssss:

It's the fact that people only want to live in big cities where all the free shit is ftfyIts the fact we keep building more when there's acute societal need for housing that only grows with time.

Look I get it, it's a problem with language and the peculiarities of human psychology's coexistence with it that leads to situations like this, problems like this even. So allow me to hopefully help crack you out of your own brainpan a bit.Its the fact we keep building more when there's acute societal need for housing that only grows with time. So we're not building places for people to live, we're building investments, and if people happen to end up living in them then that's just coincidental.
It's all gonna be okay, buddy. This is kooky shit, but i often have deja vu, and they all coincided with sickness or death in the family, losing my job or heartbreak. now it's been popping off for a week and i'm fucking scared
