Trump is going to win because he's not in office right now. 2020 was very much a referendum on Trump, and leftists really don't like Biden or Harris now. There isn't nearly as much vitriol towards Trump now than there was when people were actively dealing with things like COVID, George Floyd, RBG croaking, etc. That race was way closer and therefore possible to rig. If bullshit media polling showing Dems winning was a pretext for a stolen election, the GOP would never win anything ever.

Biden lost most of the Bernie-tier leftists over Gaza, and had a pretty good chance of being screwed off that and the economy alone. Everything that has happened since then has been one catastrophe after another for the Dems, culminating with Biden dropping out. Harris is simply a tourniquet to stem the bleeding; some may be happier to vote for her than Biden, but they will lose more than they will gain because the administration is obviously a total shit show at this point. She is not going to get more votes than Joe would've, had he not shit the bed.

I say this because the state I reside in goes hard for the Dems every election cycle: I do not know a single other person my age who voted for Trump. Everyone was riled the fuck up in 2020.

Now? The mood breakdown right now is basically somewhere between "We're screwed." and "Fuck the Dems for being complacent with genocide, we need actual leftists in Washington". i agree with you, but protesting in india about a war the united states has entered doesn't make sense, do you understand? protesting a soviet war in the US would not actually have done anything. i agree that anyone who didn't hold the view that the soviets were in the wrong were hypocrites, but you would never have seen the kind of demonstrations we saw for vietnam for anything the soviets did in the US because there would not have been any purpose. the US government did not control soviet government functions like the military, so protests wouldn't have done anything.

it's why i make, and definitely think others should too, an effort to get out and talk with IRL friends who are not online all the time, people who don't even use social media. it's interesting to get their take as a sort of reality gauge compared to the online shit, and so far i've always found that paying attention to them is a much better indicator of the direction things are going than the psychotic freaks on twitter and reddit.
