I'm all #thathappened on this incident.Yes, Anna suffered greatly because United "just decided" her bag was too big. From the OP:

Interesting that this happened to occur in 2019:
First of all, airline gate agents are the ones who staff the desk at the gate, check your ticket as you go up the ramp, deal with any issues pre-boarding, and check strollers, wheelchairs, and any oversized luggage before it goes on the plane.
Once you're on the aircraft, the flight attendants take over. Gate agents take care of passengers all the way up to the plane, flight attendants take care of passengers—and their luggage—once they're on the plane.
Since these are union jobs here in the US, the specific duties and areas of work for both jobs are spelled the fuck out in tedious detail, and one can't do part of the other's job no matter how convenient it might be.
So if anybody pulled her luggage out of the overhead bin, it was a flight attendant, not a gate agent. And if they pulled it out, then no, it did not fit "perfectly," or belong in that bin. And no, they didn't single her out to pick on her about her luggage for no good reason, because the cabin crew doesn't have time for that when a flight is boarding.
We've seen how fucking rude Anna is, and how she constantly fault-finds and complains. So whenever I see this incident pop up again, I think, "Gee, I wonder what United ended up comping her after she threw that snit for all of her followers," because she is exactly the kind of customer to blow up a complaint in order to get free shit.
I hate that this would not be the weirdest and most disturbing porno ever made, not by a long shot.Maybe she needs to call her favorite salesman again to cram her candy juice into her expensive getup.
