There are many ways to solve this. You only need to consult the family tree, find someone who is actually willing to take up the responsabilities along with the rights and put them in power. Britain did it once you can do it again.

An oath is meaningless if you don't have hearts and minds. In some alternative universe, where King Charles or Prince William has decided it's time to grab power back for the monarchy, he would start off by making speeches positioning himself as the defender of the United Kingdom and its native peoples. By doing so, he would gain the undying loyalty of anyone remotely inclined to kick the invaders out, including much of the Army, and he'd rather quickly find himself able to exert real power on the island. Of course, neither of them would ever do this, because they're globohomo faggots who want to rape kids at Davos, not the natural royalty of myth.
