People who were introduced to game creation through dragging and dropping assets into the editing viewport of a modern engine to make a quick shitpost-walking-sim don't appreciate the effort behind making this.this year I felt too burnt out and busy to make a true game instead of this walking simulator stuff
They are fr punching air rn. Good work, men! ❤i wonder what the CIA thinks of this
Edited Community happenings post to reflect this clarification.@Null continues his problematique pattern of spreading misinformation and disinformation. The CyberChud engine is not written in HolyC. There's a thin HolyC layer but the engine code is C. This was done due to the performance benefits of optimizing compilers versus TempleOS's non-optimizing JIT compiler, along with the total lack of SIMD instructions.
CyberChud would be 100x slower if written in HolyC.
Writing in HolyC is like writing in C but with a couple caveats and without as much type checking. If you know C you can basically write HolyC.how difficult is it to program in holy c? is it radically different from other programing languages?
