The brief context is the European Commission reminded Elon Musk that European hate speech laws are different and Twitter has to observe them while operating in the EU. Musk responded with some gay meme image, as he does, telling the sender to fuck himself. (Null would execute it better in his sleep.)
I don't actually care hugely about the spat with the European Commission, I just want to say this: whenever I see Linda Yaccarino post, it seems to be something pretty dumb. I understand her job is only to make profit, not necessarily do anything broadly useful or intelligent. But her weak spin attempts and basic pandering really don't seem worth whatever salary a Twitter CEO gets nowadays. Have you seen Twitter? No fucking shit its users are incapable of listening or drawing their own conclusions. Was that your point?
I don't know what kind of ethnic name "Yaccarino" is, so I'll be sexist instead for a change and say she seems to be a textbook diversity hire. The various men who hired Yaccarino during her career wanted a slightly increased diversity of mildly attractive women around.
