No, I remember this. It was his 2nd or 3rd 'Predator' stream. He said he did then as a PSA, but now I am wondering if it was something more sinister.

A few things stick out. His lawyer got a continuance for him to get together his exhibits and witness list. He sits on his hands for 10 days and doesn't put together any witnesses or exhibits, and when his lawyer asks "who you got?" he is incredulous that the lawyer didn't do his job for him. Why would your lawyer know who you want them to call? Your witnesses aren't going to be listed in the state's case, and your lawyer doesn't know any other context about your case, so why would they be able to put together a witness list? PL: I admit that I haven't been involved in a court case with such low stakes, but in higher-stakes civil litigation my lawyers have always asked us for the possible witnesses and exhibits, but it's up to them to craft the case around that evidence.

His lawyer also says "they don't like that" about asking the state to provide transcripts of interviews. In a context where you intend to make a deal, "they don't like that" actually has a lot of power. Litigation, like war, is just negotiation through other means. But Nick has never learned anything about law in a courtroom, and just has a purely academic understanding of the topic (hence the autistic ideas about the rule of completeness) from a shit-tier law school.
