There was a time when him and Oprah were considered to be the generational talent that changed TV as far as we know it, and at one point him and Jerry Springer were competing over who could get the most millions of viewers.

I'm not sure when it happened, but I remember watching the monkees and gidget after school. One day I came home, grabbed a snack and poured a big glass of juice and sat down to watch my shows and this old goofy faggot came on the tv instead of my shows. I hated that motherfucker for at least two decades because of that.
