Genshin thankfully isn't a glorified casino and is a fully fleshed out open world zelda-y F2P single player adventure game, but that doesn't change the fact that new character unlocks are mostly tied to RNG shit that you CAN pay microtrasactions for. It doesn't increase your chances in a severe way, just makes more rolls happen a tiny bit faster. Nowhere near fast enough to be satisfying or cause a dopamine rush IMO. Unless you're occasionally spending a little bit,like 4 dollars forthe welkin thing or whatever to show support/keep the servers running for the game there's literally no reason to fucking whale aside from being wealthy and/or retarded. Most people spinning the casino claims about genshin are people like Jim Sterling from what I've seen. the "politically active" game review people.

I have never seen a gacha game that didn't have a toxic community one way or another. Gacha just brings out the worst in people (and I say this as a longtime gacha player myself)

Mitsuki is barely a pun, it's just literally third month but using japanese reading of the characters instead of the sinojapanese reading that's more common in compound words.

Her Chinese name isn't normal. Sanyue Qi (三月七) is literally just "March 7th" in chink speak. There are chinks whose last names are romanized as Qi, but they use different characters so no one's running around as the Seven family.
