The only person who legitimately believes detractors are coping and seething over him hitting tips goal every stream and pissing their pants that Phil is redeemed is DSP himself. Any tourists who bite that narrative are way off the plot if they think we actually give a fuck he blows it all immediately on gacha and shiny new toys. Man, Phil trying to be like a video game review channel was so bad, it was good, especially when he would get information wrong like with his Overwatch "tips" video. Although, you gotta give to him, he did an OK job doing these "reviews" in(seemingly)one take, even though it leads to him misspeaking or mush mouthing whatever he's trying to say(like when he said "lininnindinjitsu in his Nioh "review")which is why one should edit.

I love this verison of dsp, the early 2016 - 2000s phil. The phil that didn't give a fuck and shitted on everyone. even if our modern phil is only a small ember of that gouty fire that burned decades yor, I am enjoying it. I hate placid safe phil, i love cringey fake tough guy phil, easier on the stomach, and funnier to laugh at.

It's missing the fine balance of smug tough guy Phil then being put back into his place by say, a videogame.
Wonderwafflez in SF4 is a good couple minutes example of this.

Right now it's unchecked Phil and I don't even know if the pay off is worth it. It's inflated to mass amounts that would make Dobson blush.

It's based to cheat the IRS out of taxes, yes. It's not based to use the government to avoid your debt responsibility, which then gets out of the taxes the government stole from other people.

Phil seems to really think he’s going to call Null to account for this site…I’m really intrigued to see whether Null reads DSP as a total retard in the first five minutes of their summit and subsequently humors him (like Null does with Ralph when they speak). If Null actually gets revved, will we still King Phil or Keem Phil?

He's already went on record saying he as a lot to talk about to Null, about how this site is evil and has affected his life and family (1 cat) and he's going to take him to task.

DSP is finally going to do what Keffals and #dropkiwifarms failed to do and make Josh see the error of his ways and get him to shut it down and sweep it up.
