I wonder how much of that is regional. I took a risk and bought the game, the gameplay tickles an itch that Overwatch just doesn't and the longest wait time was 2 minutes at 4AM, I actually wait longer for a match in Overwatch.

Ok give me all the neg ratings for admitting I bought this.
turn off crossplay and i bet you won't be able to find a match, there's also the thing where they pair international players with US lobbies, so its probably unplayable in non NA regions

You can tell they're fucking seething over this game's total failure. Leave devs alone, they say - while at the same time trying to divebomb Wukong based on shit they almost entirely made up.

The hypocrisy of journoscum is nauseating.

Seems like the NPC line is that if the game was good, you'd be missing out because you can't afford the $40 for it. you're happily dancing the grave because you don't have to wallow in fact that you are a poor gamer who can't afford real video games:

My guess at the real reason for all this grave dancing is that it feels like a victory over FOMO. If the new $40 game sucks and no one is playing it, I can safely go back to whatever I was playing before without worrying that anyone's having fun without me. Beating up on unpopular games is also a way to passively farm a satisfying sense of vindication: If I never paid attention to a game that fails at launch, it affirms the correctness of my judgment and the immaculacy of my taste without any effort on my part.

it's amazing cope even by game journalist standards.

it's hilarious that after almost a fucking decade companies still don't understand or even care that MM only works with a critical mass of players. below it and it's an outright detriment to the people who actually want to play your game. no lobbies, now custom servers, no way to set up games just for fun besides have everyone click the shiny red button and hope for the best. it's a big reason where the DEAD GAME meme comes from.

there's a reason TF2 is still going strong (besides bots), and starcraft etc. had such a long grassroots community, while modern corporate slop doesn't.

dude looks like such a testosterone-vacuum it's probably dangerous to be in the same room as him for leeching yours...

I'll give that a go and report back.

i wonder why they dont add offline with bots, lan play and p2p. that is 3 option that should be standard for all these online mulitplayer games today. then the game can live on after the dedicated servers get shutdown, and it can still continue to be sold as a product. its like these developers spend millions and when the dedicated servers get shutdown there is no players, no sales anymore, all is big loss, its just stupid.

Wait there's seriously no option to add bots to a match? Literally every other multiplayer shooter ever made has that option.

God damn they really did screw up on every possible front.

Ngl, it looks classier than anything in the game. I'd consider it if it wasn't for the name.
If you get a melamine sponge, you should be able to remove the tramp stamp off the back without fucking up the plastic. I know plenty of gunpla builders who use them for removing top coats and whatnot.
