Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Nah, modern bomb yields are significantly lower. The actual innovation is in something called MIRV, which simply put is an ICBM that splits into many smaller bombs and decoys. Modern warheads are also dramatically more efficient than the early ones you're talking about, there would be much less fallout.

Nuclear war is still a tremendously bad idea, just not because we'd be dropping humongous weapons on each other that then irradiate the atmosphere for centuries to come. Actual fallout from modern warheads is really very low. Humanity would live on, nations wouldn't. It's just that a world without Russia wouldn't be worth living in.
are all russian female jews this dumb or was there simply an electrical discharge in your incubation unit when you were born?

I can't help think that the lack of resistance (pulling of resources) from the Ukies around Pokrovsk is the start of them them purposely capitulating the rest of the Donetsk Oblast (without officially giving it up).
NATO's objective to force Russia to commit serious resources (both monetarily and in body count) in this region has succeeded. I think they also wanted to weaken them militarily, which hasn't worked ... but 2 out 3 ain't a bad result considering they officially didn't fire a single shot.

But Ukraine is losing their streams of funding/toys (and willing participants) means they are losing their effectiveness against an increasingly better prepared, potent and implacable opponent.
I think the Kursk incursion was a diversion to see if they could ransom for some concessions

It will be interesting to see if they are constructing serious defensive lines beyond Pokrovsk.
(but I still think the Russians will end up taking over everything on the right side of the Dnieper )

Russian nukes are significantly newer than American or French ones.

One Russian ICBM/SLBM has enough warheads to take out most of France for example. (Ten 500kt warheads).

While Americans seemingly mostly plan for an all out nuclear war, I’ve seen reports indicating that the Russian threshold for using nukes is much lower, and that they have plans for using tactical nukes.

In other news, good news from Krivoy Rog:

An SBU official and a little Polish Pan, are among the confirmed dead from a Russian missile strike. Pretty impressive intel they must have had.

For those of you who don’t speak cabbage, the tweet talks about the polack was very concerned about the situation for the Hohols, and how he was promised before deployment, that he’d be safe in the rear, far away from any danger and only teaching Ukrainian troops.

The little pan leaves a kid. Maybe he should have thought of his kids before going off to war.

His name was Włodek. He was supposedly training troops in the rear.

I am being assured for twenty years now that its imminent. Just like chinese economy collapse, which final signs are on horizon every day, for like a decade now
At this point I have to concede that "hopes and dreams" are a lot more stable foundation for a society then I initially anticipated.

Hopes and dreams very well describes western reporting on china, I have to admit. Just yesterday I counted nine different headlines among the lines of "chinese banking headed for collapse" and "chinese heavy industry falls apart". If even 0.01% of those headlines were true, china would be a smoking crater, slowly filling with water.

Maybe if you put your truck in a giant condom it will be safe

A couple of months ago an Aussie mercenary by the name of Brock Greenwood was killed in Ukraine. Yesterday "Aussie Cossack", a guy holed up in the Russian embassy in Australia published footage of his body being recovered from the trenches, and Greenwood's mother hit the roof and caused a bit of a stir in the press. Now I'm no fan of gore videos, so beware if you don't want to watch it, but what struck me was just how shitty the trench he died in was. It was more like a rainwater gutter than a place that offered any sort of protection. How the hell is anyone meant to survive any sort of bombardment in that.

Western Conservatives are like the Ukie-Bros when it comes to China. They clearly have no contacts in the country and have no understanding of their psychology or culture or even just how massive it is. It's why I don't take China Uncensored seriously.

I do feel sorry for the mum, but he was a mercenary ... that is the most obvious hazard of the job he willingly signed up for.
Her government was one of the countries who are responsible for egging on the conflict/funding the war, giving her son an opportunity to kill people and earn some big bucks.

The Nazis did the whole "stolen art" thing too, didn't they?
Oh yes. Goring was HUGE when it came to stealing art. Literal train loads of paintings and such. The Nazis stole so much foreign art a lot of pieces are still missing today. There was a u.s monument men squad of people dedicated to finding and restoring that art post D.day. (movie was unrealistic shit but book was pretty interesting)

One guy managed to find a stolen painting in the background of the movie Stewart little. So they are still finding em here and there.
If Iran, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Cuba, Egypt, Libya or really any other US antagonized country get access to Russian export AA or anti ship missiles then the whole balance of power in the region with Israel goes to shit. Loads of ways to escalate indirectly without resorting to nuclear warfare. It would be a mirror of arming Ukraine to the teeth with NATO's ensemble armory.
I thought that was already happening. The suez has been completed blocked and the task force sent to retake it got ran off outside of it. Yemen at the very least has missiles capable of sinking ships accurately enough to get the U.S to back off.

Ukraine has officially Banned the Canonical Orthodox Church within the Country under Metropolitan Onufry of Kiev and All Ukraine. they have Declared War on God and his Church. Which is undoubtedly the Stupidest thing they could have done this will come back to haunt them in more ways then they could ever hope to realize.
Everyone involved in prolonging this genocide of a war in the krain is going to a very warm place when this is all said and done.
That is why being cynical more often than not turns out to be a good thing, at least to some extent.
People need to stop blindly trusting the government and think about the big picture. The government is always going to act in its self interest, the question is does this self interest benefit the world and the nation?

Id argue until the past decade or so that at least the government was benefiting the nation or at least propping it up. Now? It's a shitshow.

That's not taking into account their targets, and NPP/facilities would absolutely be on there so you'd have mini Chernobyls everywhere, and no one to mitigate them. The same goes for military facilities which have really awful toxic stuff lying around.
Vaporizing a plant like Chernobyl would make the 86 disaster look like a camp fire in comparison. There are three other reactors at Chernobyl that thankfully didn't get damaged during that night. Throwing that much radioactive material into the atmosphere would kill the planet.

Aren't there thousands of F-16s? They got only six? Kek. Just kek.

They always give them the smallest of crumbs.
Just enough to keep Ukraine fighting, never enough to have any decisive factor on the battlefield. Lend-lease this is not.

They already do have access to such exports, and if not the Russian, than Chinese equivalents.

The Suez canal is still open and ships are still traveling through the Bab al-Mandab Strait. As far as I'm aware the Houthis are only attacking shipping known to belong to Israel in some fashion. The US has redeployed the carriers to off Iran's coast to retaliate against Iran should it attack Israel again.

To be fair, the Stuart Little painting was probably stolen by a refugee, rather than by the nazis. It disappeared too early.

In NATO's defense, the US-made F-16 wasn't shot down by Russians, but just crashed on its own due to shoddy maintenance, low quality materials, and counterfeit microchips from China.

It happens all the time.

FIRST

Down!

lol!

Lmao even!

Not shot down? You mean is it a hohol drinking window cleaner-related accident, or it got shot down and they don’t want to admit to it?

Maybe if you put your truck in a giant condom it will be safe

Jeez, what a cunt!

How about showing some appreciation to the Russian soldiers who recovered his body like it was one of their own? Maybe a “My grief is beyond words, and I send a thought to every mother who has lost a child in this war”?

It’s not Aussie Cossacks’ fault that you raised an idiot who flew halfway around the world to die in a ditch.

INB4 it was a female Ukrainian pilot. Finicky "high tech" trash in perpetual development hell crashed.

I think some russian in-service warplanes still have mechanical gyros and analog gauges but they don't fuck up like that.
It's the same with their shoddy death trap tanks. They know war is about numbers, getting shots in and the last man standing - everything else is feelgood propaganda, some thousand super elite pilots and planes are really only propaganda displays when the hammer comes down, todays russian military commanders ARE retards but their tradition and doctrines are grounded in the most brutal, high causality "modern" war the world has ever seen to this date. The U.S. is only good at "projecting" power terror: boots on the ground always ended in quagmires for them. They never managed to really win the hearts and minds of iraqis or vietnamese nor could they break them, no matter how many GIs were on the ground. The only thing, like with the japanese, they're good at is blackmailing others with total annihilation through their few super weapons (nukes, carriers, "elite" assassin squads). The russians are the only ones who, past the turn of the 20th century, annihilated and broke equal enemies face to face: the wehrmacht, the japs(kinda, sometimes) and the whites before that.
I don't even know where I'm going with this, it's just an observation, really. Not even saying that's good, actually all that is pretty bad for russian conscripts - NATA at least larps as if human rights and "no man left behind" counts for something. Historically, he russians suffered too much torment throughout, all instigated by the west. These crazy attempts to break public support for putin by staging ever more outrageous incursions and deep strikes into their territory and talking about nukes will only irritate the russian public into full on warmongering.

Not shot down? You mean is it a hohol drinking window cleaner-related accident, or it got shot down and they don’t want to admit to it?

Well, it was on the runway so if a kinzhal happened to destroy it, it technically wasn't "shot down" per se by the ruZZians.

How about showing some appreciation to the Russian soldiers who recovered his body like it was one of their own? Maybe a “My grief is beyond words, and I send a thought to every mother who has lost a child in this war”?

It was most definitively not russian soldiers (at least not in the video)
