I think that Scopely would lose far more than they could gain by sponsoring Phil. I assume there are some WWE Champions players who hate DSP because their dumb gacha game has received so much negative attention and mockery. The WWE Champions Twitter account has to block every DSP shitposter because the replies are filled with Phil's photos.

Realistically speaking, who could Phil convince to play this game? Some of his dents who want to play in his "guild" but already give him money?

I've seen much bigger streamers with 3k live viewers who can't even get 10 new players to download "Raid Shadow Legends."

What a conundrum, Phil wants dents to join his guild, but the money they'd spend in that is money that they won't be giving to him.

Someone is clout chasing again. Seems he has found his own self confidence (or delusion of grandeur) again

He definitely isn't a gacha addict despite explaining in autistic detail every single facet of WWE Champions, spending 300 dollars in one stream on the game, and admitting to being addicted to it for 7 years now. Anyone here ever play a mobile game continuously for seven fucking years?

This is not the bug win over detractors DSP thinks it is. It pretty much confirms beyond a doubt that Phil is hopelessly addicted to gacha and honestly, I don't mind it. As long as the KC dents keep tipping for this shit it will continue to be funny to watch him get giddy over this shit while thinking we are all seething about it. It's kind of funny since I know for a fact users here were advocating for him to just stream the game for years now.

So with the poker and blackjack, it would end up being like Austin Powers. Hit me, hit me, hit me, hit me.

I am pretty much having a break from Phil for the time being tbh, his prestreams are nothing but 2 hours about himself and nothing else and the gimmicks etc are just tiring. Everything is stolen, he just skinwalks PPP at this point and I wonder how long Ashton can stand it.

That's the thing with Phil, he has to always piggy back someone. It was Rambo early years and the last 8 have been a mental decline but now he wants to pop off and be social apparently. I really hope Max does not involve himself with this leech because all he is trying to do is get an audience because he knows the drama ones will flip on him in a second. He knows the KC viewers are at the behest of PPP and can dip whenever. Max is actually a nice person with no history and a good work ethic. He gets stuff because he is organic and passionate about what he likes.

How was Phil supposed to know retweeting "poopyniggerman" would be a bad optical move? He can't do research into every person he retweets. More detractor nonsense. He did everything correct.
I like to think he only saw "Poopy" and retweeted before reading the rest of the name. I think his love of scat outweighs any racial hate. He has morals after all.

I really dont think its that deep, phil hated streaming, it wasn't some gacha substitute. It's just the easiest way to get to the thing he needs to fuel the gacha
I think if Phil could get away with going back to pointing his camera at his TV and recording the footage, he would. Partly because he's lazy, but largely because of his disdain for streaming. He likes being viewed and listened to, but generally despises his audience. The "King" stuff is maybe the exception to the rule, but only because he hasn't learned he's being mocked. And even then, in his perfect world, he'd just get that from comments.
This stream was like looking into a bizarro alternate dimension, not because he's playing WWE Champions per se, but because all of the copes he had throughout the years - I don't suck at video games, I enjoy gaming it's my hobby but also my jahb, if I'm having fun people will donate etc. were actually true this stream. Dude attached his ego to fighting games, namely Street Fighter, but he doesn't even know what the difference between a mixup and an option select is, among a myriad of other very basic level mistakes he makes. Meanwhile the dude gave a university level lecture on WWE Champions, its mechanics, the various scam currencies, metagaming, the best ways to pull etc. It was surreal, compare it to that Overwatch guide he made several years ago that was full of the dumbest advice and misinformation imaginable and it's night and day. He was actually happy and engaged, every other stream he does is him in a bitchy mood with a permanent scowl on his face barely paying attention to the game, all he cares about is clocking out ASAP like an out-of-his-mind menial worker whose work day involves pushing a single button and putting a box on a pallet when it's full for 8 hours a day.

Triple P and Sir Tardski, I kneel.
A few years back, a friend was telling me...something about the history of baseball that I can't remember because neither of us had an interest in baseball. When I asked if he was getting into baseball, he basically told me he stumbled on a YouTube channel that covered the subject and he found it interesting because the person doing the videos was knowledgeable and passionate about it. I'm definitely guilty of watching reviews from channels I like, even for shows/movies that I haven't seen/have no interest in just because the reviewers in question are interesting to listen to. I think it's the not so secret success to streaming/content creation, if you're passionate and dedicated, that energy will transfer over to your viewers. It's just interesting to hear people discuss something they're passionate about, even if it isn't necessarily a shared interest. It's less talked about now, but back in the early days of digging up Champions, there were numerous posts talking about how Phil should stream it because, based on the Discord leaks with guild people, it seemed like he really knew his stuff and was discussing it in an animated way rarely seen with Phil.
