Call of Duty Thread - Potential return to form? Or nothing but cope on the horizon? You decide!

Not sure if I get the nuclear amount of shit Liberty Falls is getting after the CoD Next preview.
lol I was just coming in here to talk about how the Zombies fans are the most annoying and autistic of all the CoD fans after the absolute explosion of videos popped up in my recommended feed on Youtube.

But also the amount of people I see complaining this is a "Cold War DLC" because they use the same font while Modern Warfare III is RIGHT FUCKING THERE is making me laugh my ass off and are probably a close second.

Not sure if "why is it bright" is even worth bringing up. My nigger, the sun exists. Go outside, touch some grass.
I see videos from Zombie faggots complaining that it's too bright, then I see Warzone/Fortnite fags complaining that the desert map for Warzone looks too much like a desert and isn't bright/colorful enough.

I feel like CoD zoomers got brainrot from all the anime and pot skins over the past 3 years.

It's called of duty, the fans are going to bitch and moan that it isn't black ops 1 until the sun burns out, only for them to realize later that it was based as fuck.
I thought Black Ops 2 was the beloved Call of Duty.

I'd rather accept to get fucked by the SBMM for 2 or 3 games in a row than use a VPN or reverse boost to end up in a server of drooling retards like most TTV/ecelebs do.
I'd rather it not exist to that extreme. It makes everything rigged.

I'll never forgive COD Fans for what they did to infinite warfare.

Yeah, IW was a solid game all around; Campaign was great, Multiplayer had issues but was still good after some patches, and the Zombies was pretty solid as well. It's stupid just how the CoD kiddies ended up destroying the game; since it was futuristic, it was automatically bad, apparently. Sadly, the online portions of the game are pretty unplayable these days; haven't seen much activity on Zombies, while Multiplayer... either you get lag, sweats, a lobby with almost no people, some combination of the three, or nothing.

At the least, the Campaign is still solid, Zombies can be played solo, there's an AFK key glitch on Shaolin Shuffle if you're really into that sort of thing, and Multiplayer... erm... the maps are neat to mess around in on Private Match?

Generally speaking, BO1 or BO2 are the most beloved CoD games, usually for Zombies fans, though I've also seen plenty of support for MW1 and MW2 among the Multiplayer crowd - the original games, mind, not the new ones.

Speaking of the Black Ops games: I picked up BO3 on PS4/5 recently, and it's going... well, sorta good? I haven't been able to spend too much time in Zombies or the Campaign as of yet, but I have played the Multiplayer a decent chunk; it's surprisingly active, and I've only seen one cheater - guy was using a mod that allowed both perks and a fully-modded Kuda SMG. Also, the Featured playlist is still surprisingly active and gives a solid variety of map choices and game modes, which helps ensure the game stays fresh.

Other than that, my main issue was learning to adjust to the combat; it can honestly feel overwhelming at points, what with the floating and general high-speed of everything. That, and finding which guns to use; I've been taking pictures of a few high-level players' loadouts whenever they kill me and copying their classes to give me ideas. So far, it's going fairly decently, though I am hoping I can get to max level son to try out everything; the M8A7 and 48 Dredge both look fun.

Aside from the Multiplayer, I don't have much to say about the rest of the game as of yet; not that I haven't been trying everything out, it's just that I'd like to spend a bit more time before making my final judgements. I will say that I'm very likely going to be getting the Season Pass for this game sometime in the future; it's a fun one.

Infinite Warfare's campaign was based. I beat that game on the hardest difficulty level because I was impressed by how it affected the game mechanics.

Again, Infinite Warfare is looking better and better with each passing year isn't it?

Man, I wish that that game got more appreciation (and also wasn't completely crapped on by the Battlefield 1 fanboys).

that was the last of the good ones. ghosts and advanced warfare back to back really fucked with people. there's a reason no one talks about the Kevin Spacey one outside of the "press f" meme, that and ghosts clearly showed they ran out of ideas, "you get a dog, buy our game nigga!"

i always felt in my mind that BLOPS2 came out and then overwatch the year after, but i guess i just stopped playing vidya around that time and thats why the mid-2010s vanished in my head

COD fans got what they deserved with every single release after cope war. This is why I don't mind the ridiculous micro transactions that can cost nearly 100$ because I enjoy the fact that the same people who shit on IW or BO4 or any other "bad" COD game are actively bankrupting themselves for cosmetics that will be irrelevant less than a year from now while I keep my money. Karma is a bitch, ain't it?
IW is worth it for the single player and zombies alone, multi being dead doesn't impact it as much since it might as well just be a mod for Black Ops 3(that should still have some players on it)

@Get the rope Macaulay!
Ghosts had Extinction, my dude. Your argument is irrelevant, that mode kicked ass(not surprised people who "hate" the game without ever playing it don't even know about it)

IW in those times honestly wasn't that bad at making those kinds of modes. Extinction is pretty underrated, and Zombies in Spaceland is generally considered the best non-Treyarch zombie map, maybe even one of the best zombie maps in general.

Not sure if I get the nuclear amount of shit Liberty Falls is getting after the CoD Next preview. It's been pretty blatant for a long time now that Treyarch wants a more effective onboarding process -- get more new players into zombies, get more casual zombie players into the main story, hence the guided mode. This seems like a pretty clear beginner map with wide areas for easy train control, that casuals can really get into and try moving into Terminus from there. Remember that the amount of people, whose first zombies experience was MWZ, is more than likely larger than you might think. At best what I'm guessing happened is that nostalgia merchants saw dataminers go "blah blah Tranzit blah blah Jetgun", and thought they're gonna get to play old Black Ops again (which they can, just boot it up). Shit like "I thought we're getting Black Ops back, not Cold War" is absurd -- it's literally a Cold War sequel, even that map's story is a direct follow-up to the ending of Cold War's zombies. Not sure if "why is it bright" is even worth bringing up. My nigger, the sun exists. Go outside, touch some grass.
Same, I am mostly a Multiplayer guy when it comes to CoD, I guess I can understand that the map doesn't look as outlandish as CoD Zombies maps usually known for, other then that I feel as if its just a symptom of overreaction and ragebait that we see in the modern gaming community.

What are you guys' opinion on Blame Truth? You may make the argument that his points are valid, but he comes off as a massive A-log that just hates on Nu-CoD for views and ad revenue, and if he makes a positive video about it, his retarded fans won't watch it and call him a traitor. I call him the Alex Jones of CoD due to how ridiculous his claims can be. In the end, he just comes off as a very displeasant JewTuber to watch...

His content is just clickbait thumbnails and blind outrage with no backing of his claims. He just sounds like a disgruntled CoD fanboy to me.

He's a faggot.
The Ghost of Eight is the Alex Jones of CoD tubers.

That's the issue with IW. Sure, the story may have been decent with its premise and character development/performance. I don't know; I didn't even bother with IW's campaign. I was already disappointed with BO3's campaign. Its initial trailer did not sell anybody with its space setting. Moreover, IW holding CoD4 hostage with its deluxe edition for a number of months did not help either. Remember that people were already tired of advanced futuristic movement from Advanced Warfare onward when IW released.

CoD: WWII after that was a "breath of fresh air" with "BOOTS ON THE GROUND gameplay" returning to form.

Please give it a try whenever you can, Infinite Warfare's campaign is up there with the OG Modern Warfares in terms of quality and feels.
I'm playing the Beta and it's not that bad tbh
Same here, the game feels amazing so far! If only my aim was better though... (I got my code from a Xitter giveaway, I didn't give Jewctivision any money)

I got a code from Xfinity and my aim is pretty bad too lol

First impressions weren't great for me because I kept getting beamed left and right. I managed to get some stride after an hour of play FWIW. Omnimovement is simpler than I thought. If you get a groove with it, you could do cool things with it such as leap of faith kills and bullet evasion to cover. I need more time with it. UI looks similar to MWIII, I don't like it.

my aim is pretty bad too lol
Same.

I'm watching people play and I don't get the aesthetic.

I'm told this takes place in the 90's, but all of the menus and load screens has the orange future Black Ops 3 look. Apparently there's some sort of future looking Adler skin too?
