It's like man, these people, all of them, are quite literally going to decay within the next decade. All these people are within their 20s/30s and barely been a troon, let alone an regular porn/internet addict, for less than a decade while already facing loads of health issues, let alone mental health issues.
It is quite frankly disturbing how we've given over science to administration. And by that I mean, all you have to do is get the local authorities to rule that someone's feeling is more important than actual human psychology (transgenderism is the sign of a very unhealthy and susceptible brain; how else could anyone possibly explain that many people would chemically alter otherwise healthy bodies simply because you're convinced your brain said so? Time was, those people were told to seek help away from the rest of us).
But hey, if Big Daddy HR/Government says you need to respect the pronouns, that's the end of it, Jack.
Even when I go outside, there is a weird amount of troons where I live. My area has than 10k people in it. The general county itself has less than 60k. Wanna go to a group regarding nerdy interests? Troons and poons. Not a city btw.
I feel like I've grown up a lot in the past five years. That's not to say that I wasn't an adult before. I considered myself a reasonably good citizen. I pay my taxes and my bills on time. I hold doors for people regardless of who they are. I give to charity and I don't advertise about it. I don't do drugs or even watch porn. All things I've always done as an adult.
That said, it used to be somewhat "okay" for me to be interested in all of those nerdy things because that's what I grew up with. Now, all the nerdy things I used to like are occupied by the midwits and crybabies that basically alternate between "ours, you can't have it now" and "why aren't you praising this enlightened and brilliant work that we've made for you? Have you truly no empathy?"
And I feel like I've disengaged because I've acknowledged that the same mentality that occupies the things I used to enjoy is that of the kind of drama that teenagers bring to the table. This weird play-acting at being adults that teenagers do, mostly to get back at Daddy for being Patriarchal (because that's really what pop culture is nowadays - it's one long, gangly, sickly middle finger to dear old Dad and his crusty old institutions), because the new generation has somehow figured out that they are more smart, knowledgeable and enlightened than previous generations, and they, by knife and by drug if necessary, will do it better than Daddy ever did.
Not to get too off-topic, but the same thinking applies to all Social Justice weasels. The feminists think that without modern conveniences, women were somehow "forced" to stay in the home rearing and raising children, as opposed to adapting to a social structure that works within the world they lived - one that we barely left 100 or so years ago, and that women somehow had limitless potential that was squashed and we'd have been so much more advanced if only women weren't forced to, I don't know, have seven or eight kids because all of them were certain to live, right?
It's that same infantile thinking here: we know better than previous generations. We've solved the problems, and don't you dare tell us that historically, we've been proven wrong, we were just oppressed and
we are never going back (to times they aren't familiar with but are so adamant that they would have been the exact same person if they were transplanted back in time).
Point being, they've occupied the space of "the other", things people like me used to occupy, and filled it with the kind of childish nonsense that old-school nerds would have never gotten away with, and we grew out of and did productive things with our lives, because for fuck's sake, even back then we knew it was all just fantasy fiction, not shit to hang our identities off of.
