If you're wondering how competent Mald is as a gamedev… (this is about Heartbound)

Also, this is my first time on a big youtuber discord but am I supposed to get pinged 10 times a day over shit nobody cares about?

I wonder what kind of unholy abomination of a code can cause a bug to crash RPG game, which shouldn't deal with any kind of dates, specifically on September 2nd.

ANY public announcement on ANY public Discord server will ALWAYS get troon flag reacts.
Troons revolve their lives around needing constant asspats and validation to cope with living a lie.
Also why would you react to a "Hey here is a bug" message with the troon flag?
It's even worse when you look up for Palestinian flags or Ukrainian ones.

For these people, giving stickers like that is just the way of telling to everyone "LOOK EVERYBODY, I AM AN ACTIVIST AND I HAVE THE CORRECT OPINION ON THE CURRENT THING!"

Bunch of buzzards.

So this is just a very small thing but is this guy even an Earthbound fan? After reading the entire thread there seems to be zero indication that he knows anything about Earthbound, which is weird for someone making an Earthbound rip-off. As far as I can tell he just ripped off Earthbound because he saw Undertale doing it first.
This isn't just him, but I think Earthbound exists for three types of people; the first are the most honest, they just never played it. The second are people who have played it and enjoyed it. The third are tourists who say "Oh yeah, Earthbound" while playing it very little or not at all; and Jason falls into this category. If you were to creatively ask him what was his favorite thing / what he named Ness's unique PSI, he couldn't tell you, couldn't tell you how many Starmen he had to defeat for Poo's sole weapon, or if he even tried for the Gutsy Bat. He can tell you the towns are made with numerical references, there's the Run Away Five, and Paula's Prayer is how you defeat the final boss, who by the way is symbolic of an abortion from some childhood trauma from the head dev. You ask for a specific meaningful or memorable part or anything, he couldn't tell you; nor could like 90% of the Internet denizens who cite Earthbound. It was unique and quirky for its time, just like every wannabe online personality you've ever seen, ever.

There's no complex reasoning behind putting emotes under people's messages on discord. I used to put gay/tranny flags under mod messages because I consider most of them faggots but now it's just a habit. Same goes for writing nigger with emotions, it's just funny.

Yes, Jason needs everyone to know about the retarded minuscule events that happen in his life every few hours. Don't you know it's peak professionalism to inform all your fans about some bug none of them would have ever encountered by pinging them in your fan discord? Gotta show how professional this 20 year industry veteran is!

Also that just raises more questions about how fucking bad this dude is at coding that playing his shitty GameMaker RPG on September 2nd would somehow break it. How fucking retarded is this guy?

Is Earthbound actually worth playing? I tried playing as a kid and I couldn't even get past the first part where you have to go up to the mountain because the path was blocked off. Nowadays I'm probably far less retarded, so I've been going through games from the past that I really should play (Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy VII, GTA IV and San Andreas, Symphony of the Night, Persona 3, Phoenix Wright, THPS, Ocarina of Time, and more) and a lot of them have been quite good, better than a lot of games of today.

Given how lazy he is, I wouldn't be surprised if he downloaded scripts like this and this., then completely forgot what they did in his tangled mess of spaghetti code.

I liked it, but it's ok if it doesn't grab you. It's a game made by it's charm and style, and has a decent battle system with some funny moments. Great soundtrack. Try it if you like a dose of silly in your RPGs, it isn't too hard and the game guide came with the cartridge so don't feel shame about looking stuff up.

Mald made a new video about EVE online where him and his furry cabal are BOOLIED relentlessly by the devs of the game.
Guys they're definitely victims. Definitely not trying to exploit game mechanics in an used part of the universe or anything.

Would love for some EVE autist to grace this thread and tell us why and how this is crazy wrong.

The "oh we thought that was a *clan name here* problem" bit sounds like the devs thought that the clan was fucking retarded and ignored all of their reports.

also definitely sounds like they were up to some no good shit, the way he talks about exploits and making MILLIONS on a section of space that ONLY they could access.

For people in the know, and since ThePrimeTime, T3-Theo and Jason won a category and they are all gloating about it, could you RED PILL me on DEF CON? Is it like a puzzle thing with hacking sprinkled? Do real hackers go there or they are too busy working on breaking into real stuff? So it's like a bit of an escape room but for programmers? Or is it "the real deal"?
