I doubt Nick is thrilled that Aaron's still free to talk about himself and April.
Don't assume that Nick isn't going to use this to his full advantage. Any talk Aaron does about the swinger's group will imply Kayla's involvement. Nick will pounce on any mention of the swinger's group and construe it to be harassment of Kayla. Nick has zero problems lying, twisting the truth or gaslighting. Nick will try everything he can to reframe this to be about Kayla in order to get Aaron's bail revoked.
That is what this is all about. The harassment extender on the revenge porn charge is incredibly weak sauce. But the complain the way it is written really focuses on this being about harassment. If this really truly was a case of harassment, then why isn't the DA adding a more traditional harassment charge to this case? Probably because that would be weak sauce too.
This is all about getting Aaron to shut up, and the police and the DA in St. Cloud took the bait. They haven't dealt with Nick enough to be wise to his games. If Aaron had lived in the same county as Nick, I doubt that those police and that DA would have been duped.

Had Aaron posted Kayla's nudes on the internet for all to see, I would have agreed with you. But he didn't. He shared one photo with someone he thought was his buddy. He took an incredibly stupid chance that his buddy wouldn't save it and upload it to the internet himself, or pass it on to someone else who would pass it on. There are plenty of women in this thread who brag about showing dick pictures to their friends to laugh at them. But NOBODY is getting upset with them for "revenge porn."
The only reason Aaron is getting charged for this is because he did it in a way where everyone knows he did it, to people (Keanu) who talked about what he did explicitly, and Nick was gunning for any opportunity to take Aaron down.
In Minnesota, all of these women showing dick picture to their friends would be guilty of the same exact revenge pornography statute IF 1) someone cared enough to report them to the police & 2) They did it in such a way that they could be caught by the police.
