Richard Aspinwall taught math and coached sports. Reports indicate he stepped in to try to defuse the situation and prevent more victims.

Christina Irimie was trying to teach class and certainly looking forward to going home that evening to be with her family. She isn't getting there.

Mason Schermerhorn was seriously disabled and his family searched for him in a panic all day, worried that he would not understand what was going on. They don't get to see him anymore.

Christian Angulo's family held a big party for him, here he is cutting his cake with a 14 on it. He won't get a 15th cake.

There is no "debt to society" that can be worked off to atone for what was lost today. The only merciful thing we can do is to keep someone capable of this from doing it again. Forever.

yeah you do still need some standards. im reminded of gypsy crusader (which maybe ironic i havent checked his latest scandals) remarking how whites in jail would kick people out of the main group for moral reasons unlike other races. if you let it devolve into a cess pool might as well not have one at all. its also weird to bring up because you cant even really pull a race angle out of this a disabled black kid isnt going to do anything and he shot at whites.

You're right and I remember it being linked on the front page. It was called "shots fired" or "active shooter" or something. I think we might have found something about a specific shooting before anyone else did and Josh was trying to corner the market on circumventing shooter's having their internet presence scrubbed. It didn't last very long.

Okay I'll take the bait-the government should help families and children in his situation. If the parents are totally dysfunctional, the state has an interest in intervening, and that means placement and other options. The welfare state might have been an option here, and more extensive social services.

Do we really expect fourteen year old boys with drug addict mothers to just...somehow make it? One doesn't have to have a policy of infinite lenience towards the criminal underclass to realize thinking that is insane and a recipe for disaster.

I am usually very pro punitive. But I understand where a child like this would come from, and well he's White and not a troon. Call it tribalism but I'm not going to trash a White kid.

And he's going to get life imprisonment if the feds and state don't seek the death penalty. So you shouldn't worry about justice. Regardless, no White child should ever grow up in the circumstances of that boy, they deserve better.

As much as I like seeing these types of socially inept cretins die, knowing they get to burn in hell for eternity for what they did, I also love it when these assholes get put in gen. pop. so big Tyrone can anally rape them for the rest of their days. In any event, it is good that the shooting was resolved with as few losses as it was. If the boy had not surrendered, (and school resource officers aren't usually armed), it could have been much worse.
