The Savage Nation was the go-to for cool stuff long before I knew what the hell he was talking about. The only thing close to that experience was surfing the radio during some long-distance driving and stumbling on a guy talking about vampires at 2 or 3 AM. Unfortunately, I have obvious concerns with ... ahem...EARLY LIFE.... as well as his son being the CEO of Rockstar energy drinks, but I want to believe he's one of the good ones.
Michael "Savage" Weiner was a neocon ballwasher all through the 2000s and early 2010s (who rambled way too much about whatever he may have had for lunch that day) after which he sort of fell off my radar. Just like with Mark Levin(((e))) (the man with the most god awful voice for radio on the planet), Hannity, O'reilly, I haven't really listened to them in a while because I find their voice or affectations so grating, and found their analysis/commentary to be boomer-tier con-inc shit, but it feels like they're working "MAGA" just to maintain their "grrrrr Dems bad!" grift.

Out of all those from 90s on of conservative voices, Rush had the best. Even though he was a total pillhead and 'half his brain tied behind his back' was literally an inside joke that he was constantly stoned on oxy, he was still the best voice of them all. Tucker is close though.

I can't stand Lex Friedman, why is that guy popular. Awful voice, just a dry fuck.

Vance reacts to Liz Cheney's endorsement of Kamala. Basically calls her a warmonger and says "blessed are the peacemakers."

JD Vance is very good at this, I could see him being a very involved VP, as far as I've ever seen the VP is pretty much a placeholder, I think Vance will be much different. Or I really hope he does.

This leads to me a question of two parts, is there a list of any sort of potential cabinet picks? Who do you want in what cabinet position? I haven't thought about it much at all.

I mean, you are technically right but practically wrong. A little over a third of registered voters watched the Trump v. Biden debate, with the slant of people who watched -massively- leaning towards independents. If you are 'undecided', these are in fact watched. Technology has only made it easier to watch either in the moment or sometime after. Now, normally this does drop off hard past the first debate but the expected numbers are actually -higher- for the Trump v. Harris debate. Skewing heavily towards more left-wing viewers.

This is really bad for Harris, because the reason there is such an expected uptick is because she has been utterly barren on her announced policies. greats watches of the left-wing are seeing this as their one chance to actually know what they are voting for. Additionally, while most independents and undecideds viewed the last one... its more or less predicted for everyone who is even vaguely unsure to watch this one for much the same reason.

If she -just- does worse than Trump it is going to be more damaging for her than Biden's apocalyptical debate. God help her if she does as bad as Biden did.
Anything we can glean from her demands that didn't fly with Trump, and his rejection of them? I take it she was hoping to get a "Mr. Trump I am speaking" gotcha since the woman isn't very creative (and I half expect ABC to unmute her mic so she can still get one); anything else?

I'm hoping Trump points out that she can't demand to speak to Putin's manager if things go wrong, that would be pretty damned funny.

She couldn't even handle a weak debate with Tulsi Gabbard, and Trump has specifically been practicing against her. This shit is going to be magical.

I wonder if ABC is going to carry water for her considering she's doing nothing for the media.

This might sound silly, but how did you guys and girls learn about politics,
Middle School, my middle school teacher made us read the newspaper and give an analysis of the article.
and when did you become conservative?
I'm not a conservative, more perhaps Blue Dog Democrat or Moderate Republican.

A few things about myself, I have a good memory, am pragmatic (in the common sense), dispassionate, and believe in an ethical standard.

My journey began due to my reading newspaper articles about a school funding bill and how it would help education according to the editors. Being more impressionable, I was in support of the measure even if I couldn't vote. Fast forward a couple years and another school funding bill is proposed...well what about the first bill I thought. I tried to find a way to measure if the bill was effective until I realized was involved in the measuring via standardized testing.

Guess what, more money but no improvement. Then I remember how early in my childhood, how money seemed to be a concern and how it would be kind of wrong to ask my parents to pay more for something that didn't work

Que the Clinton assault weapons ban, I read all the articles praising it. Rinse and repeat, a few years later I read a newspaper article now pleading for more gun control. But what about the assault weapons ban? Well, I learned it did nothing,

Next, I was introduced to the legal theories of the Supreme Court. Upon learning of a living Constitution vs fair reading textualism as championed (imperfectly by the late Justice Scalia) I found that Scalia's version had more grounding and the attempts to update the Constitution via the courts always seemed to favor the political stance of said judge. Almost as if they were imparting their values into their decisions on matters.

After, I was at UC Hastings when the topic of TASERs and police were a discussion in San Francisco. I could remember activists groups on and off campus opposing adding TASERs to the police arsenal yet a couple years later and a police shooting occurs in SF. Guess what the first criticism was?

What about Tasers? Why don't you guys use TASERs?

Well, that's because the activist class won and the SF City Council tabled the matter. They are complaining about the issues they cause.

It was around then I realized that progressives and a large swath of the left are run by emotions. That the facts don't matter only what they feel at the time. Worse, this feeling is just redirected at another new outrage without critical examination of the first.

One more example so I do not bore you:
NBC News reporter Julia Ainsley on the breaking story of an alarming whistleblower complaint that "high numbers" of female detained immigrants at an ICE detention center in Georgia received questionable hysterectomies while in ICE custody. Aired on 09/15/2020.

If true, this is a gross violation of bodily integrity. This is something that should be of significant concern and if you went by the reactions on the left, you might even believe it. So how did this story turn out?
The subcommittee’s 103-page report found that the charge of unnecessary hysterectomies was not true. “The Subcommittee found this allegation to be false, and ICE determined that the two hysterectomies Dr. Amin performed on ICDC detainees appeared to be medically necessary,” the report says.

But there was not collective sigh of relief. This report was barely even acknowledged by those screaming abuse. Such, they don't care about the issue of violations of bodily autonomy but of how they could feel gnashing their teeth while currying favor.

While the above was not the reason I have the political views that I do, it gives you insight into what motivates my beliefs.

It's that I believe the left has gone off the edge, I haven't changed my values the left has. They want this fucking utopia while all the signs are suggesting that what they are wishing for will make society objectively worse. Yet, they continue to push for said policies and even demonize critics.

I think its pretty obvious what she was hoping for, and I still hold that the hope is to find an excuse to cancel outright, but it just... a bad plan. The plan is to try to set up a situation where it can be twisted that Trump is bullying her. Its a literal attempt to go "Woe is me". All the rule change proposals are meant to set that up, all are being shot down. By the Trump Campaign because they realize Trump works best in a linear format and the venue because they... honestly just hate Harris.

That brings up something else I am surprised isn't being mentioned in here. So, the ABC debate is the most likely one to happen at all. ABC was very much in the bag for Biden... but they are entirely an -establishment- media outfit. They -fucking despise- Harris, possibly more than they hate Trump because Harris represents a form of apostasy to them.

Somehow I don't think being easily bullied would be seen as good presidential material. I could be wrong tho, maybe the Democrats really want a traumatized victim making life and death decisions for the nation.

With a full-on ESG president, America deserves to lose on the World Stage. It kinda is already, but there'd be more reason to hold the US in contempt.

Media rebranded him a hip rebel because they desperately wanted him as the GOP nominee in 2000 instead of Bush. Even when the media got new NPC updates in 2008 telling people to hate McCain, they went back to sucking his dick once the election was over.
I'm old enough to remember when McCain was Jon Stewart's favorite cool conservative and practically lived on the Daily Show. It was only when he was against Obama that suddenly McCain changed and was a crusty old republican only to be rehabilitated again once O was firmly in office.

Guess what I'm saying is fuck Jon Stewart.

Turns out he is the reason why Trump has been going on all these podcast
All the kids love Lex Friedman and Adam Carolla. /sneed

That's just what he says because nothing makes a podcaster happier than thinking teenagers like him.
and since i see that shit everyday, it might be just me
I know if I saw that everyday I left the house I'd have to start wearing white pants exclusively

@CaddestSlown Thank you for sharing that Candace Owen vs. the Rabbi video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GzogU1RncbU . I'm barely past the highlights and it's fantastic. So far he's come across like a lunatic and she's just being a cool glass of water in return. I know what I'll be watching while I have my lunch. This is just great.

Also, he called her "Candace Ovens". I can't even...

They can complain and seethe all they want but in the end, they have their orders. In the last debate, it was like 99% a Biden self-destruction. The only thing that it could be attributed to the network was that they constantly showed Trump just stumped at Biden's incoherence by having that splitscreen.

Working for someone who you know is dumb has to suck but it's what they chose to do. Best I can hope for is that the moderators press the candidates with follow-up questions instead of giving them multiple choice answers like they did with the totally organic Harris' interview.

I don't expect them "going rogue" if that's what you are implying. It would be friendly fire at this point.

Had a thought on Kamala wanting an 'I'm speaking' moment and trying to play the victim to Trump's bully. She hasn't set herself up as the 'sympathetic' character. Hell, Trump 'bullying' Hillary didn't stop him from beating her and she was more popular/had far more people pulling for her. Would people really go up to bat if they weren't already for Kamala after the lack of everything so far?

I was actually "liberal" for a while when I was a teenager. Let's just say I never want to go back to that phase of my life again. I think it was the weird looks I got every time I started saying typical faggot SJW shit.
